於此可見天主之子女、不以血統為據、而惟恩諾是憑。

In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.

因为你们藉着信，在基督耶稣里，都是神的儿女。实际上，你们所有受洗归入基督的，就穿上了基督，其中没有犹太人或希腊人，没有为奴的或自由的，没有男的或女的，因为你们在基督耶稣里都合而为一了。而且，如果你们属于基督，你们就是亚伯拉罕的后裔，是照着应许的继承人。

并且他领受了割礼的标记，做为他没有受割礼时因信称义的印证，使他成为所有不凭着割礼而信之人的父，也使他们被算为义；而且他也成为受割礼之人的父，不仅为那些受了割礼的人，还为那些顺着我们的先祖亚伯拉罕信心之脚踪行走的人；亚伯拉罕的信心在他没有受割礼的时候就已经有了。原来，赐给亚伯拉罕和他后裔继承世界的应许，不是藉着律法，而是藉着因信而得的义。这是因为，如果本于律法的才是继承人，信就落了空，应许也就无效了。事实上，律法带来了震怒，所以哪里没有律法，哪里也就没有过犯。为此，这应许是本于信，好使这应许照着恩典，能确保给所有的后裔——不仅是给属律法的，也是给属亚伯拉罕信心的。亚伯拉罕在神面前是我们每个人的父，

在耶和华登记万民的时候，他将要数点：“这一个出生在那里。”细拉

因为经上记着：亚伯拉罕有两个儿子，一个出于女仆，一个出于自由女人。那出于女仆的是由肉体生的，那出于自由女人的是藉着应许生的。这些都是有寓意的。就是说，这两个女人是两个约。一个出于西奈山，生子为奴，她就是夏甲。这夏甲是指着阿拉伯的西奈山，相当于现在的耶路撒冷，因为耶路撒冷和她的儿女都是为奴的。但那在上面的耶路撒冷是自由女人；她是我们的母亲。因为经上记着：“不能生育、没有生产的女子啊，你要欢喜！没有经历临产阵痛的女子啊，你要放声呼喊！因为没有丈夫的女子，比有丈夫的女子有更多的儿女。”不过弟兄们，你们就像以撒一样，是应许的儿女。但正如那由肉体生的当时逼迫了那由圣灵生的，现在也是这样。然而经上是怎么说的呢？“把女仆和她的儿子赶出去！因为女仆的儿子，绝不可以与自由女人的儿子一同做继承人。”因此，弟兄们，我们不是女仆的儿女，而是自由女人的儿女。

原来，凡是蒙神的灵带领的人，他们才是神的儿女。

我们不是被他看作外人吗？因为他把我们卖了，竟然彻底吞噬了我们的身价！

后裔必服事他；主的事必给后代讲述。
