於此可見天主之子女、不以血統為據、而惟恩諾是憑。

In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.

他們不是從血統生的，不是從肉身的意思生的，也不是從人意生的，而是從神生的。

你們因著信，在基督耶穌裡都作了神的兒子。你們所有受洗歸入基督的人，都是披戴基督的，並不分猶太人或希臘人，作奴僕的或自由人，男的或女的，因為你們在基督耶穌裡都成為一體了。如果你們屬於基督，就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，是按照應許承受產業的了。

他領受了割禮為記號，作他受割禮之前因信稱義的印證，使他作所有沒有受割禮而信之人的父，使他們也被算為義；又作受割禮之人的父，就是作那些不僅受割禮，並且照著我們祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮時就信的那腳蹤而行之人的父。原來神給亞伯拉罕和他後裔承受世界的應許，並不是因著律法，而是藉著因信而來的義。如果屬於律法的人才能成為後嗣，信就沒有作用，應許也就落空了。因為律法帶來刑罰，沒有律法，就沒有違背律法的事。所以，成為後嗣是因著信，為的是要按著神的恩典，使給所有後裔的應許堅定不移，不但臨到那屬於律法的人，也臨到那效法亞伯拉罕而信的人。亞伯拉罕在神面前作我們眾人的父，

耶和華登記萬民的時候，必記著：“這一個是生在那裡的。”（細拉）

經上記著說，亞伯拉罕有兩個兒子，一個出於婢女，一個出於自由的婦人。但那出於婢女的，是按著肉體生的；那出於自由的婦人的，是憑著應許生的。這都是寓意的說法：那兩個婦人就是兩個約，一個是出於西奈山，生子作奴僕，這是夏甲。這夏甲是指著阿拉伯的西奈山，相當於現在的耶路撒冷，她和她的兒女都是作奴僕的。那在上面的耶路撒冷是自由的，她是我們的母親，因為經上記著說：“不能生育、沒有生養的啊，你要歡欣！沒有受過生產痛苦的啊，你要呼喊，大聲呼叫！因為棄婦比有夫之婦有更多兒子。”可是，弟兄們，你們是按著應許作兒女的，好像以撒一樣。不過，當時那按著肉體生的，迫害那按著聖靈生的，現在也是這樣。然而經上怎樣說呢？“把婢女和她的兒子趕出去，因為婢女的兒子，絕對不可以和自由的婦人的兒子一同承受產業。”所以，弟兄們，我們不是婢女的兒女，而是自由的婦人的兒女了。

因為蒙神的靈引導的，都是神的兒子。

他不是把我們看作外人嗎？因為他把我們賣了，吞沒了我們的身價。

必有後裔服事他，必有人把主的事向後代述說。
