當是時以色列族雅各家所遺之民、不恃敵人、惟其聖主耶和華是賴、雅各之遺民、歸乎全能之上帝、以色列族其數雖多若海沙、而歸服者亦僅無幾、萬有之主耶和華、秉公行義以治民、必在國中、翦滅斯眾、其意已定。

默示何也、曰、我遺七千人、未嘗曲跽巴力、今猶有幾人、乃上帝垂恩遴選者、以恩則不以功、否、則恩不為恩、以功則不以恩、否、則功不為功、

越至於後、以色列族其數必如海沙、不能斗量籌算也、今我語人曰、爾非我民、異日將稱為永生上帝眾子、

耶和華又曰。宜登邑垣、雉堞環列、非屬於我、可撤其衛、勿盡毀之。

我必大賚爾福祉、昌熾爾子孫、如天星之眾多、如海沙之無量、爾子孫將勝諸敵、

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。

爾散於列邦、中有遺民、得脫鋒刃、我使之然。

主將舉手、再拯其遺民、使自亞述、埃及、八羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈末、及海之洲島而歸、

猶大國烏西亞、約擔、亞哈士、希西家、相繼在位時、亞麼士子以賽亞、以猶大耶路撒冷之事、得之默示者筆於書。

斯土之民、既遭斯難、尚有孑遺、若收橄欖果、拾葡萄實、猶留數顆、

今我若違上帝命、與斯土之民通嫁娶、行不善、必干爾震怒、翦滅我儕、靡有孑遺。

今我上帝耶和華暫施其恩、拯我遺民、使恆居聖所、錫我寵光、不為人奴、保我生命、

主將委斯民於難、待妊婦已產、則君之同族餘民、將歸以色列地、斯君將興、恃其上帝耶和華之能力、威儀、以牧斯民、彼將為大、至於地極、民亦恆存、斯君也、將錫我以平康、時值亞述人侵伐我地、蹂躪我殿、牧伯傅膏者將興、不以七人八人為限、以攻擊之、亞述人侵伐我地、蹂躪我境、彼必以鋒刃攻亞述之國、寧綠之境、以免我民於患難。雅各遺民、將潤澤列邦、如耶和華所降之甘露、如細雨之霢霂、灌溉草蔬、不待人力。雅各之遺民、將擊列邦、如牡獅嚙野獸、如稚獅噬群羊、一過其中、則蹂躪斷傷、無能救援、
