You will say to me, therefore,“ Why then does He still find fault? For who can resist His will?”

这样，你肯定会对我说：“为什么上帝还指责人呢？谁能抗拒祂的旨意呢？”

这样，你会对我说：“那么他为什么责怪人呢？有谁抗拒他的旨意呢？”

那么，你会对我说：“既然如此，神为什么还要指责人呢？到底谁能抵挡他的旨意呢？”

這樣，你必對我說：「他為甚麼還指責人呢？有誰抗拒他的旨意呢？」

這樣，你會對我說：「那麼，他為甚麼還指責人呢？有誰能抗拒他的旨意呢？」

這樣，你會對我說：「那麼，他為甚麼還指責人呢？有誰能抗拒他的旨意呢？」

這樣，你肯定會對我說：「為什麼上帝還指責人呢？誰能抗拒祂的旨意呢？」

這樣，你會對我說：“那麼他為甚麼責怪人呢？有誰抗拒他的旨意呢？”

這樣，你必對我說：『他為甚麼還指摘人呢？誰反對過他的主意呢？』

那麼，你會對我說：「既然如此，神為什麼還要指責人呢？到底誰能抵擋他的旨意呢？」

如是、爾必語我云、上帝何尚責人乎、孰逆其旨乎、

爾必語我云、何其尚責人哉、孰逆其旨乎、

然則爾必語我云、天主何尚責人哉、誰能抗拒其旨乎、

爾將謂予曰：既如此、則天主尚何復責人？夫孰能違其意乎？

One of you will say to me:“ Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?”

One of you will say to me,“ Then why does God still blame us? Who can oppose what he wants to do?”

You will say to me then,“ Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”

Well then, you might say,“ Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven’t they simply done what he makes them do?”

You will say to me, therefore,“ Why then does he still find fault? For who resists his will?”

You will say to me then,“ Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”

You will say to me then,“ Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”

Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he still find fault? For who withstandeth his will?

Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

You will say to me then,“ Why does he still find fault? For who has ever resisted his will?”

You will say then to me,“ Why does he still find fault? For who withstands his will?”

All the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing, and He does what He wants with the army of heaven and the inhabitants of the earth. There is no one who can hold back His hand or say to Him,“ What have You done?”

He said: Yahweh, the God of our ancestors, are You not the God who is in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can stand against You.

But someone will say,“ How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have when they come?”

You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result— the survival of many people.

“ For, in fact, in this city both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, assembled together against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed,to do whatever Your hand and Your plan had predestined to take place.

I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: My plan will take place, and I will do all My will.I call a bird of prey from the east, a man for My purpose from a far country. Yes, I have spoken; so I will also bring it about. I have planned it; I will also do it.

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say,“ There is no resurrection of the dead”?

No one undergoing a trial should say,“ I am being tempted by God.” For God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself doesn’t tempt anyone.

Though He was delivered up according to God’s determined plan and foreknowledge, you used lawless people to nail Him to a cross and kill Him.

Even human wrath will praise You; You will clothe Yourself with their remaining wrath.

I will send him against a godless nation; I will command him to go against a people destined for My rage, to take spoils, to plunder, and to trample them down like clay in the streets.But this is not what he intends; this is not what he plans. It is his intent to destroy and to cut off many nations.

But He is unchangeable; who can oppose Him? He does what He desires.He will certainly accomplish what He has decreed for me, and He has many more things like these in mind.

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

Then you will say,“ Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”

For the Son of Man will go just as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”

If He snatches something, who can stop Him? Who can ask Him,“ What are You doing?”God does not hold back His anger; Rahab’s assistants cringe in fear beneath Him!How then can I answer Him or choose my arguments against Him?Even if I were in the right, I could not answer. I could only beg my Judge for mercy.

But if our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteousness, what are we to say? I use a human argument: Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath?Absolutely not! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?But if by my lie God’s truth is amplified to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say,“ Let us do what is evil so that good may come”? Their condemnation is deserved!
