So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

属肉体的人无法使上帝喜悦。

所以受罪恶本性控制的人无法令上帝喜悦。

在肉體裏生活的人總不能使上帝喜歡。

並且，屬肉體的人無法得到神的喜悅。

從形軀者、不能取悅乎上帝、

是不能悅於上帝者、從欲也、

故凡從肉體者、不能見悅於天主、

故凡體欲之情者、必不能取悅於天主也。

Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Those who are under the power of sin can’t please God.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and[ of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.But without faith[ it is] impossible to please[ him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and[ that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom[ be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort[ you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,[ so] ye would abound more and more.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things[ which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Children, obey[ your] parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
