體肉體、乃與天主為仇、因不服天主之法、且不能服也、

原来体贴肉体的，就是与神为仇；因为不服神的律法，也是不能服。

因为体贴肉体就是与上帝为敌，对上帝的律法不顺服，事实上也无法顺服。

因为以肉体为念就是与神为仇，既不服从神的律法，也的确不能够服从；

原來體貼肉體的，就是與神為仇；因為不服神的律法，也是不能服，

因為體貼肉體就是與上帝為敵，對上帝的律法不順服，事實上也無法順服。

原來屬肉體的思想是敵對神的，因為它不服從神的律法，其實也不能服從；

蓋形軀之志、敵乎上帝、以其不服上帝律、且不能服也、

體欲之情者、不服上帝法、故逆上帝、蓋服法而不能焉、

無他、蓋順於欲者、則逆於天主；如此自不甘服天主之法、且亦不能。

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

The mind ruled by the power of sin is at war with God. It does not obey God’s law. It can’t.

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.

For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.

未感於神者、原文作屬血氣者不受天主之神之事、因以之為愚、且不能識、蓋此事必以神而忖度、

淫亂之男女乎、豈不知愛世即惡天主、凡欲與世為友者、即與天主為敵也、

我以內心悅天主之法、

其心蒙昩、愚頑無知、而棄天主生命之道、既失良心、則自棄、逞其邪侈、貪欲無度、行諸污穢、

主又曰、此日之後、我與以色列家所立之約、即將以我之律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我將為彼之天主、彼將為我之民、

爾素遠離、因爾行惡、心中與之為敵、

奸詐賣友、任意妄為、倨傲自大、專愛宴樂、不愛天主、

然則何言、律法即罪乎、非也、然非由律法、我不識罪、律法若不云勿貪、則我不識貪、罪藉律法而乘機、使多慾動於我中、無律法、則罪死矣、昔我無律法而生、誡至、罪生而我死、是誡本為致生、反致我死、蓋罪藉誡乘機誘我、且以之殺我、如是、律法乃聖、誡亦聖、義且善也、然則善者可致我死乎、非也、乃罪藉善者使我死、以顯罪之為罪、致罪因誡愈形其惡者也、我儕知律法純神、我乃屬肉體、見鬻於罪、為其所轄、

我儕為敵之時、賴其子之死、得與天主復和、今已復和、不更因其生而得救乎、

然則我儕因信廢律法乎、非也、乃堅定律法、

其目充於姦淫、獲罪不已、誘惑不堅者之心、慣於貪婪、是為可詛之輩、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

古實人豈能變其膚乎、豹豈能變其斑乎、若能、則爾習於惡者亦能改而行善、

愚者心中以為無天主、為人敗壞、凡其所行邪惡可憎、無有一人行善、

世不能惡爾、乃惡我、以我證其所行者惡也、

先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迎約沙法王、謂之曰、王助惡人、恨主者王反愛之、豈可哉、因此主必向王震怒、

故毀此誡至微之一、又以是教人者、在天國必稱為至微、遵行此誡而以之教人者、在天國必稱為大也、

使我儕不從肉體而從聖神、可成律法之義、

為殘害者、毀謗者、怨天主者、傲慢者、驕縱者、矜誇者、機心作惡者、違逆父母者、

蝮類乎、爾既為惡、言豈能善、蓋充諸心者出諸口也、

惡我者亦惡我父、若我在其中、不行他人所未行之事、則其人無罪、今已見之、且惡我及我父、

聖神所結之果、即仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、慈悲、良善、忠信、溫柔、節制、如此者、無律法禁止、

於無律法者我如無律法、以得無律法者、實我在天主前非無律法、乃在基督之律法下、

毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、
