蓋形軀之志、敵乎上帝、以其不服上帝律、且不能服也、

原来体贴肉体的，就是与神为仇；因为不服神的律法，也是不能服。

體欲之情者、不服上帝法、故逆上帝、蓋服法而不能焉、

體肉體、乃與天主為仇、因不服天主之法、且不能服也、

無他、蓋順於欲者、則逆於天主；如此自不甘服天主之法、且亦不能。

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

The mind ruled by the power of sin is at war with God. It does not obey God’s law. It can’t.

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.

夫屬血氣者、不納上帝聖神之事、以之為愚、且不能識、以其事乃由心靈而擬也、

淫亂者乎、爾豈不知友於世、乃敵上帝乎、凡欲為世之友者、自為上帝敵也、

蓋依內心、則悅上帝之律、

彼心思蒙昧、外乎上帝之生、因其無知而心頑也、既失其良、狥於邪侈、貪行諸污、

又云、斯日之後我與以色列家所立之約、乃以我律置其衷銘其心、我於彼為上帝、彼於我為民、

夫爾素以惡行、為異為敵於心、

奸詐、躁妄、自衒、好佚樂、不好上帝、

然則將何言耶、律豈罪乎、非也、非由律則我未嘗知罪、如律不言毋欲、則我不知欲、然罪乘機、由誡而動諸欲於我中、蓋無律罪乃死、昔我無律而生、誡至、罪復生而我死、是致生之誡、適以致死、蓋罪乘機因誡誘我、且因之殺我、如是、律聖、誡亦聖、且義且善也、然則善其死我乎、非也、但罪因善而死我、以顯其為罪、俾罪因誡而致其極耳、夫我儕知律屬神、我屬形軀、自鬻於罪、

蓋我儕尚為敵時、由其子之死、得復和於上帝、既已復和、更必於其生得救矣、

然則我儕以信廢律乎、曰、非也、乃堅律耳、

其目充淫色、不已於罪、煽惑不堅之人、心習貪婪、是為受詛之子、

彼知識中既不願有上帝、上帝遂任其喪心、行非宜之行、

古實人能變其膚乎、豹能變其斑乎、若能之、則爾習於惡者可為善矣、

愚人心中謂無上帝、彼皆敗壞、行可憎之邪惡、無一行善兮、

世不能惡爾而惡我、以我證其惡行也、

先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迓曰、爾助惡人、愛憾耶和華者、宜乎、因此、耶和華之怒及爾、

故廢此誡至微之一、又以是訓人者、在天國必謂之至微、惟遵行之、且以訓人者、在天國必謂之大也、

使律之義成於我儕、即不依形軀而行、依神而行者也、

隱刺、毀謗、憎上帝、狎侮、傲慢、矜誇、造惡、違逆父母、

蝮類乎、爾既惡、言何能善、蓋充諸心者、出諸口也、

惡我者、亦惡我父、我若於其中未行人所未行者、彼則無罪、今彼於我及父、且見且惡矣、

惟聖神之果、乃仁愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、溫柔、節制、如此者、無律禁之、

於律外人、我如律外人、以獲律外人、然我非在上帝律外、乃在基督律下也、

勿拜跪、勿崇奉、以我耶和華爾之上帝、乃忌邪之上帝、惡我者、討其罪、自父及子、至三四世、
