蓋從欲者、體欲之情；而從神者、體神之情。

因为，随从肉体的人体贴肉体的事；随从圣灵的人体贴圣灵的事。

随从罪恶本性的人顾念罪恶本性的事，但随从圣灵的人顾念圣灵的事。

随从肉体的人，以肉体的事为念；随从圣灵的人，以圣灵的事为念。

要知道，顺着肉体的人，思想属肉体的事；顺着圣灵的人，思想属圣灵的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

因為，隨從肉體的人體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人體貼聖靈的事。

隨從罪惡本性的人顧念罪惡本性的事，但隨從聖靈的人顧念聖靈的事。

隨從肉體的人，以肉體的事為念；隨從聖靈的人，以聖靈的事為念。

因為順着肉體行的、意念着肉體的事；順着靈行的、意念着靈的事。

要知道，順著肉體的人，思想屬肉體的事；順著聖靈的人，思想屬聖靈的事。

蓋依形軀者、志乎形軀之事、依神者、志乎神之事、

蓋從欲者、體欲之情、從神者、體神之情、

蓋從肉體者體肉體之事、從聖神者體聖神之事、

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

So don’t live under the control of sin. If you do, you will think about what sin wants. Live under the control of the Holy Spirit. If you do, you will think about what the Spirit wants.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their minds set on the things of the Spirit.

For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

若夫氣質未化之人、則不能領悟聖神之眾妙、且以為愚妄焉。是無他、聖神之妙理、必須具有超性之靈光、始能發其底蘊、固非氣質未化之人所得而領悟也

夫情慾之事、亦顯而易見也；凡姦非污濁、淫蕩奢侈、拜偶像、行巫術、仇恨爭競、好勝忿怒朋比釁隙、迷惑異端、嫉妒殘殺、沉醉荒宴等類皆是。吾夙已言之、今復鄭重相告、凡行此等事者、必不得承受天主之國也。若夫聖神之果、則為仁愛、神樂、安怡、忍耐、慈祥、良善、忠信、溫恭、克己、凡此種種非律法所能制裁也。凡屬於基督者皆已將其肉體及一切情慾同釘於十字架。吾人既恃聖神而生、亦應依聖神之默感而行、

今爾既因基督之復活、而得新生、則宜力求上達、仰望位於天主右手之基督、高尚其事、而不復汲汲於世俗之瑣事也。蓋爾已死；爾之生命、與基督同匿於天主懷中。

生於血肉者、屬於血肉、生於神者、乃屬於神。

蓋方今天下、與基督之十字架為敵者滔滔皆是也。此予已屢為爾曹陳之、今復涕泣為爾等道之；若輩之終局、淪喪也、若輩之所天、口腹也、若輩之所引以為榮者、無恥之行也、若輩之所志、不外塵世之事也。

耶穌顧視門徒、謂伯鐸祿曰：『沙殫退去！爾不體主旨、惟體人意。』

故兄弟應知吾人既不為肉身之役、自無順從情慾之責。爾如從欲、取死之道也。存神去欲、得生之道也。凡遵循天主聖神之導引者、即為天主之兒女。

體欲之情者死、而體神之情者生以安。無他、蓋順於欲者、則逆於天主；如此自不甘服天主之法、且亦不能。

而縱慾逞邪、犯上作亂者、尤不能倖免。若輩目無法紀、怙惡不悛、誹謗有司、褻瀆神明。

倘若天主之神寓於爾心、則爾不依乎欲、而依乎神矣。蓋無基督之神者、非其徒也。

夫光明之果、曰善、曰公、曰誠；

一人屬地、則眾人屬地；一人屬天、則眾人屬天；

蓋吾人雖生於形體之中、然非從事於形體上之戰爭；
