是像經上所記：「我們為你的緣故、終日被處死、看為將被屠宰的羊」麼？

As it is written:“ For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

It is written,“ Because of you, we face death all day long. We are considered as sheep to be killed.”( Psalm 44:22)

As it is written,“ For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

( As the Scriptures say,“ For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)

事實上我們為你的緣故是終日不斷地被殺，被看如將宰的羊呢。

他被壓迫，受苦楚，總不開口；就如小羊被牽到屠宰之地，又如同羊在剪毛人面前無聲，總不開口。

我們呢、又為甚麼時時刻刻冒險呢？

我必使他們像羊羔下到屠宰之地，像公綿羊和公山羊下到宰殺之場。

但你呢，永恆主啊，你深知我；你看透我，你察驗我對你怎樣；求你將他們拉出來、如拉屠宰的羊，將他們分別出來、以備殺戮之日。

他所誦讀的那段經是這一段：『他好像羊被牽到屠宰之地，像羊羔對剪毛的人不出聲，他也這樣地不開口；

我以為上帝是把我們做使徒的顯然列為最卑賤的廢物，好像定死罪的人：我們竟成了一齣戲給宇宙看，給天使給人類看呢！

但我不為性命作甚麼計算，而看為對自己有價值；比較起來，倒不如完盡了我的跑程、和我從主耶穌所領受的執事職任，鄭重證明上帝恩惠之福音。

我卻像柔順的羊羔，被牽到屠殺之地。我並不知道他們設計謀是要害死我；他們說：『我們來把樹連樹汁都滅掉，將他從活人之地剪除掉，使他的名不再被記念。』

身體上時常帶着耶穌的死，好叫耶穌的活也在我們這身體上顯明出來。因為我們這些人雖然活着，卻永遠為了耶穌的緣故被送交於死，好叫耶穌的活也在我們這能死的肉身上顯明出來。

人必將你們革出會堂；不但如此，時候必到，凡殺你們的、且要以為是獻事奉與上帝呢！

石頭怎樣破裂或裂開於地上的，他們的骨頭也必怎樣被擊散於陰間口。
