如經所載云、我儕緣主、終日見殺、視如將宰之羊、

詩云：『正惟為主故、吾人日見殺；一如屠家羊默默待宰割。』

As it is written:“ For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

It is written,“ Because of you, we face death all day long. We are considered as sheep to be killed.”( Psalm 44:22)

As it is written,“ For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

( As the Scriptures say,“ For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”)

As it is written: Because of you we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.

Just as it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

As it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

為你的緣故，我們終日被置於死地；人看我們如同將宰的羊。

他被虐待，受痛苦的時候，他並不開口；他像羊羔被牽去屠宰，又像羊在剪羊毛的人面前寂然無聲，他也是這樣不開口。

我們又為甚麼時刻冒險呢？

我必使他們像羊羔，像公綿羊和公山羊一樣下到屠宰之地。

但耶和華啊！你認識我，了解我，你察驗了我對你的心意。求你把他們拉出來，好像將宰的羊一般；求你把他們分別出來，留待宰殺的日子。

他所讀的那段經文，就是：“他像羊被牽去宰殺，又像羊羔在剪毛的人面前無聲，他總是這樣不開口。

我想神是把我們作使徒的列在最後，好像定了死刑的人，因為我們成了一臺戲給宇宙觀看，就是給天使和世人觀看！

但我並不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我從主耶穌所領受的職分，為神恩惠的福音作見證。

至於我，我卻像一隻馴良的羊羔，被牽到屠宰之地；我並不知道他們設計謀害我。他們說：“我們來把這樹和果子（“果子”原文作“它的食物”）都毀滅吧，把它從活人之地剪除，使它的名不再被人記念。”

我們身上常常帶著耶穌的死，好讓耶穌的生也在我們的身上顯明出來。我們這些活著的人，為耶穌的緣故常常被人置於死地，好讓耶穌的生也在我們必死的身上顯明出來。

人要把你們趕出會堂；並且時候要到，所有要殺害你們的人，以為這樣就是事奉神。

他們說：“我們的骨頭被拋散在墓旁，好像人犁田鋤地時掘起的土塊。”
