你们若顺从肉体活着，必定会死；若靠着圣灵把身体的恶行处死，就必存活。

爾如從欲、取死之道也。存神去欲、得生之道也。

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

If you live under the power of sin, you will die. But by the Spirit’s power you can put to death the sins you commit. Then you will live.

顺着肉体撒种的，必从肉体收败坏；顺着圣灵撒种的，必从圣灵收永生。

亲爱的，你们是客旅，是寄居的，我劝你们要禁戒肉体的情欲；这情欲是与灵魂争战的。

所以，要治死你们在地上的肢体；就如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪婪—贪婪就是拜偶像。因这些事，上帝的愤怒必临到那些悖逆的人。当你们在这些事中活着的时候，你们的行为也曾是这样的。但现在你们要弃绝这一切的事，就是恼恨、愤怒、恶毒、毁谤和口中污秽的言语。

我克制己身，使它完全顺服，免得我传福音给别人，自己反而被淘汰了。

凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体与肉体的邪情私欲同钉在十字架上了。

既然你们因顺从真理而洁净了自己的心灵，能真诚爱弟兄，就该以清洁的心彼此切实相爱。

训练我们除去不敬虔的心和世俗的情欲，在今世过克己、正直、敬虔的生活，

为要使律法要求的义，实现在我们这不随从肉体、只随从圣灵去行的人身上。因为，随从肉体的人体贴肉体的事；随从圣灵的人体贴圣灵的事。体贴肉体就是死；体贴圣灵就是生命和平安。

你们要脱去从前的行为，脱去旧我；这旧我是因私欲的迷惑而渐渐败坏的。

因为我们属肉体的时候，那因律法而生犯罪的欲望在我们肢体中发动，以致结出死亡的果子。

但每一个人被诱惑是因自己的私欲牵引而被诱惑的。私欲既怀了胎，就生出罪来；罪既长成，就生出死来。

情欲的事都是显而易见的；就如淫乱、污秽、放荡、拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、纷争、忌恨、愤怒、自私、分派、结党、嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等类。我从前告诉过你们，现在又告诉你们，做这样事的人必不能承受上帝的国。

如今，那些在基督耶稣里的人就不被定罪了。因为赐生命的圣灵的律，在基督耶稣里从罪和死的律中把你释放出来。

因为罪的工价乃是死；惟有上帝的恩赐，在我们的主基督耶稣里，乃是永生。

不要醉酒，酒能使人放荡；要被圣灵充满。

不要使上帝的圣灵担忧，你们原是受了他的印记，等候得救赎的日子来到。

那么，你们现在所看为羞耻的事，当时有什么果子呢？那些事的结局就是死。

至于淫乱和一切污秽，或是贪婪，在你们中间连提都不可，这才合乎圣徒的体统。淫词、妄语和粗俗的俏皮话都不合宜；总要说感谢的话。要确实知道，无论是淫乱的，是污秽的，是贪心的（贪心的就是拜偶像的），在基督和上帝的国里都得不到基业。
