你们若随从罪恶本性活着，必定死亡；但若靠着圣灵除去身体的恶行，就必活着。

你们若顺从肉体活着，必要死；若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行，必要活着。

你们若顺从肉体活着，必定会死；若靠着圣灵把身体的恶行处死，就必存活。

爾曹若從肉體而行、必死、若以聖神而滅身之邪行、必生、

爾如從欲、取死之道也。存神去欲、得生之道也。

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

If you live under the power of sin, you will die. But by the Spirit’s power you can put to death the sins you commit. Then you will live.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.

顺从罪恶的本性撒种的，必从罪恶的本性收取败坏的恶果；顺从圣灵撒种的，必从圣灵收取永生。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们是客旅，是寄居的，我劝你们要禁戒与灵魂为敌的邪情私欲。

所以，你们要治死身上属世的罪恶，如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪心，贪心就是拜偶像，因为上帝的烈怒必临到做这些事的悖逆之人。你们过去也和他们一样过着罪恶的生活，但现在必须杜绝这一切的恶事，如怒气、愤恨、恶毒、毁谤和污言秽语。

我严格训练自己，克服自身的软弱，免得我传福音给别人，自己却被淘汰了。

那些属基督的人已经把罪恶的本性和本性里的邪情私欲都钉在十字架上了。

你们既因顺服真理，洁净了自己的心，能够真诚地爱弟兄姊妹，就当以清洁的心彼此切实相爱。

这恩典教导我们除掉不敬虔的心和世俗的私欲，在今世过自律、公义、敬畏上帝的生活，

使律法公义的要求实现在我们这些不随从罪恶本性，只随从圣灵而活的人身上。随从罪恶本性的人顾念罪恶本性的事，但随从圣灵的人顾念圣灵的事。顾念罪恶本性的人结局是死亡，但顾念圣灵的人却有生命和平安。

就应该与从前的生活方式一刀两断，脱去因私欲的迷惑而渐渐败坏的旧人，

从前我们受自己罪恶本性的控制，因律法而激发的罪恶欲望在我们身上发作，以致结出死亡的果子。

其实每个受到诱惑的人都是受自己的私欲怂恿和诱惑。私欲怀了胎，便生出罪，罪一旦长成，便带来死亡。

顺从罪恶本性而行的事显而易见，如淫乱、污秽、邪荡、拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、争吵、忌恨、恼怒、纷争、冲突、分裂、嫉妒、凶杀、醉酒和荒宴无度等。我从前警告过你们，现在再一次警告你们：行这些事的人必不能承受上帝的国。

因此，如今那些在基督耶稣里的人不被定罪，因为赐人生命之圣灵的律已经在基督耶稣里使我获得自由，脱离了罪与死的律。

因为罪的代价就是死亡，而上帝借着主基督耶稣赐下的礼物则是永生。

不要醉酒，醉酒会使人放荡，要被圣灵充满。

不要让上帝的圣灵担忧，你们已经盖上了圣灵的印记，将来必蒙救赎。

做了现在想起来也觉得羞耻的事，得到了什么益处呢？那些事只能导致死亡！

一切淫乱、污秽或贪婪的事在你们当中连提都不要提，才合乎圣徒的身份。污言秽语、愚昧粗俗的谈笑都不合宜，总要说感恩的话才好。因为你们清楚知道，淫乱的人、污秽的人，还有贪婪的人，就是拜偶像的人，在基督和上帝的国里没有立足之地。
