Once I was alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life again

我以前没有律法是活着的；但是诫命来到，罪又活了，我就死了。

At one time I lived without understanding the law. But when I learned the command not to covet, for instance, the power of sin came to life,

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.

But now we have been released from the law, since we have died to what held us, so that we may serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the old letter of the law.

So I discover this law: When I want to do what is good, evil is present with me.For in my inner self I delight in God’s law,but I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.

since Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them.

The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.

For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.

For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.For he who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker.

He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and looked down on everyone else:“ Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.The Pharisee was standing and praying like this about himself:‘ God, I thank you that I’m not like other people— greedy, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’

Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.For no one will be justified in his sight by the works of the law, because the knowledge of sin comes through the law.

For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live for God.

“ I have kept all these,” the young man told him.“ What do I still lack?”

Then an expert in the law stood up to test him, saying,“ Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”“ What is written in the law?” he asked him.“ How do you read it?”He answered,“ Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,” and“ your neighbor as yourself.”“ You’ve answered correctly,” he told him.“ Do this and you will live.”But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus,“ And who is my neighbor?”

circumcised the eighth day; of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; regarding the law, a Pharisee;regarding zeal, persecuting the church; regarding the righteousness that is in the law, blameless.

For troubles without number have surrounded me; my iniquities have overtaken me; I am unable to see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my courage leaves me.

Abandoning the command of God, you hold on to human tradition.”He also said to them,“ You have a fine way of invalidating God’s command in order to set up your tradition!For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.But you say,‘ If anyone tells his father or mother: Whatever benefit you might have received from me is corban’”( that is, an offering devoted to God),“ you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother.You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many other similar things.”

“ I have kept all these from my youth,” he said.

“ You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother or sister has something against you,leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift.Reach a settlement quickly with your adversary while you’re on the way with him to the court, or your adversary will hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison.Truly I tell you, you will never get out of there until you have paid the last penny.

But he replied to his father,‘ Look, I have been slaving many years for you, and I have never disobeyed your orders, yet you never gave me a goat so that I could celebrate with my friends.

For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.But you say,‘ Whoever tells his father or mother,“ Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift committed to the temple,”he does not have to honor his father.’ In this way, you have nullified the word of God because of your tradition.
