今則得釋於律法、蓋繫我者、我已脫之若死、使我儕事主不以文之舊者、乃以神之新者、

今於素所縛我之律、既脫之若死、致我之奉事、不以文之舊、而以神之新矣、○

今既脫繩我之法、得服事主、非藉虛文于疇昔、乃感聖神而維新、

今則吾人既死於曩時所受之束縛乃得灑然脫於律法之權下；是宜以自由自在之精神、昭事天主、不當再拘泥於文字之陳跡矣。

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

But now we have died to what used to control us. We have been set free from the law. Now we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit. We no longer serve in the old way of the written law.

But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.

如是、我兄弟乎、爾因基督之身、已釋於律法若死、致可從他人、即由死復活之主、使我儕為天主而結果也、

故我儕為其死受洗禮、是與基督同葬、基督以父之榮、由死復生、我儕從此新生以行、亦如是、

信之道尚未顯著、我眾為律法所守、而被拘以俟信之道顯著、如是、律法為我啟蒙之師、引我就基督、使由信稱義、信之道既顯著、我儕不復在蒙師之下、

天主使我能為新約之役、非循儀文、乃循聖神、蓋儀文致死、聖神致生、

我由律法、而為律法已死、使我可為天主而生、我與基督同釘於十字架、而我仍生、非我生、乃基督在我內而生、且今我在身而生、乃以信天主子而生、彼曾愛我、為我舍己者也、

期日既滿、天主遣其子由女而生、服於律法下、以贖律法下之人、使我眾得為子、

爾曹不屬律法、乃屬恩寵、故罪不復轄爾、○然則何也、不屬律法下、而屬恩寵下、則可犯罪乎、非也、

即以智慧日新者、循造之之像也、

基督已贖我脫律法之詛、以其為我而服詛、蓋經云、凡懸於木者服詛也、

今爾得釋於罪、為天主之僕、獲成聖之果、終致永生、

如是爾曹賴我主耶穌基督、當視己為罪而死、為天主而生、

其素無割禮、而守律法者、豈不罪爾有儀文受割禮、仍犯律法乎、蓋顯為猶太人者、非猶太人、於身顯受之割禮、非割禮、隱為猶太人者、是誠猶太人、心之割禮、是真割禮、蓋在內心、不在儀文、其稱譽非由人、乃由天主、

兄弟乎、我與識律法者而言、爾豈不知律法束人、祗一生乎、

是故人在基督、則為新造之人、舊事已逝、一切更新、

天主、乃我於其子之福音一心奉事者、為我作證、我祈禱時、念爾不已、

勿效乎此世、爾心維新而自化、使爾明辨天主之旨、其旨至善可悅且純全者也、

非也、我儕既絕罪若死、豈可仍於罪中而生乎、

我必賜以誠一之心、使懷中有更新之志、自其體內去其剛愎之心、剛愎之心原文作石心賜以柔順之心、柔順之心原文作肉心

賦爾以新心、使爾衷存更新之志、自爾體中去其剛愎之心、剛愎之心原文作石心賜爾以柔順之心、柔順之心原文作肉心

我今因爾肉體懦弱、試以人言言之、爾曾以肢體獻於不潔及不義為僕以行惡、今當以肢體獻於義為僕以成聖、

信基督耶穌、受割禮不受割禮皆無益、至要者惟新造之人、

我儕心事天主、以基督耶穌為誇、不恃外貌、外貌原文作肉軀下同是真受割禮者、
