今則得釋於律法、蓋繫我者、我已脫之若死、使我儕事主不以文之舊者、乃以神之新者、

今則吾人既死於曩時所受之束縛乃得灑然脫於律法之權下；是宜以自由自在之精神、昭事天主、不當再拘泥於文字之陳跡矣。

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

But now we have died to what used to control us. We have been set free from the law. Now we serve in the new way of the Holy Spirit. We no longer serve in the old way of the written law.

But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

For I through the law died unto the law, that I might live unto God.I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.

and have put on the new man, that is being renewed unto knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life.

Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.

and shall not the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who with the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law?For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh:but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Or are ye ignorant, brethren( for I speak to men who know the law), that the law hath dominion over a man for so long time as he liveth?

Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers

And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness unto sanctification.

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:
