So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God.

因此，我的弟兄们，你们藉着基督的身体，在律法上也被处死了，使你们归向另一位，就是从死人中复活的那一位，好让我们能为神结出果子来。

所以你們呢、我的弟兄們，你們因屬於基督的身體、對於律法也可被看為已死的、可以歸於別人的，就是歸於那從死人中得甦活起來的，好叫我們可以給上帝結果子。

因此，我的弟兄們，你們藉著基督的身體，在律法上也被處死了，使你們歸向另一位，就是從死人中復活的那一位，好讓我們能為神結出果子來。

我兄弟乎、如是爾因基督之身、脫律若死、致可他適、即自死見起者、俾我儕結果於上帝、

如是、兄弟賴基督身、亦猶脫法而從復生之人、結果為上帝榮、

如是、我兄弟乎、爾因基督之身、已釋於律法若死、致可從他人、即由死復活之主、使我儕為天主而結果也、

今我兄弟既仰賴基督之身、而死於律法、則從良改嫁、其誰曰不宜？良人者何、即自死中復活之彼人是已！亦在吾人勉結良果、以報答天主云耳。

So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

My brothers and sisters, when Christ died you also died as far as the law is concerned. Then it became possible for you to belong to him. He was raised from the dead. Now our lives can be useful to God.

Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in regard to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another— to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

Therefore, my brothers, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the crucified body of the Messiah, so that you may belong to another— to Him who was raised from the dead— that we may bear fruit for God.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another,[ even] to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God.

Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God.

He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.

For your Creator will be your husband; the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things!

And because you belong to him, the power of the life giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.

But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.

I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion.I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the Lord.

But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.

For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law— I stopped trying to meet all its requirements— so that I might live for God.My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the bridegroom’s friend is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at his success.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself.

He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.

As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying,“ Take this and eat it, for this is my body.”

May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation— the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ— for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say. Forget your people and your family far away.For your royal husband delights in your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.The princess of Tyre will shower you with gifts. The wealthy will beg your favor.The bride, a princess, looks glorious in her golden gown.In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king, accompanied by her bridesmaids.What a joyful and enthusiastic procession as they enter the king’s palace!Your sons will become kings like their father. You will make them rulers over many lands.

Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness.

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.

Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything.For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for herto make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault.

Your children will commit themselves to you, O Jerusalem, just as a young man commits himself to his bride. Then God will rejoice over you as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures,“ Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

For I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. I promised you as a pure bride to one husband— Christ.

Then one of the seven angels who held the seven bowls containing the seven last plagues came and said to me,“ Come with me! I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

When we bless the cup at the Lord’s Table, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? And when we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ?

You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as,

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh.”

For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.
