but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

But I see another law working in me. It fights against the law of my mind. It makes me a prisoner of the law of sin. That law controls me.

因为肉体的情欲和圣灵相争，圣灵和肉体相争，这两个彼此敌对，使你们不能做所愿意做的。

你们中间的冲突是哪里来的？争执是哪里来的？不是从你们肢体中交战着的私欲来的吗？

因为赐生命的圣灵的律，在基督耶稣里从罪和死的律中把你释放出来。

亲爱的，你们是客旅，是寄居的，我劝你们要禁戒肉体的情欲；这情欲是与灵魂争战的。

感谢上帝，靠着我们的主耶稣基督就能！这样看来，一方面，我内心顺服上帝的律，另一方面，肉体却顺服罪的律了。

我因你们肉体的软弱，就以人的观点来说。你们从前怎样把肢体献给不洁不法作奴隶，以至于不法；现在也要照样将肢体献给义作奴仆，以至于成圣。

求你从被囚之地领我出来，我好颂扬你的名。义人必环绕我，因为你用厚恩待我。

我觉得有个律，就是我愿意行善的时候，就有恶缠着我。

也不要把你们的肢体献给罪作不义的工具，倒要像从死人中活着的人，把自己献给上帝，并把你们的肢体献给上帝作义的工具。

其实世上没有行善而不犯罪的义人。

因为我们属肉体的时候，那因律法而生犯罪的欲望在我们肢体中发动，以致结出死亡的果子。

你们与罪恶争斗，还没有抵抗到流血的地步。

我们原知道律法是属灵的，我却是属肉体的，是已经卖给罪了。

用温柔劝导反对的人。也许上帝会给他们悔改的心能明白真理，让他们这些已被魔鬼掳去顺从他诡计的人能醒悟过来，脱离他的罗网。

但你这属上帝的人哪，要逃避这些事；要追求公义、敬虔、信心、爱心、忍耐、温柔。你要为信仰打那美好的仗；要持定永生，你为此被召，也已经在许多见证人面前作了那美好的见证。

原来我们在许多事上都有过失；若有人在言语上没有过失，他就是完全的人，也能勒住自己的全身。
