For in my inner self I delight in God’s law,

因为按着我里面的意思，我是喜欢神的律；

按著我裡面的人來說，我是喜歡神的律，

因為按我「內心的人」來說呢、我倒極贊喜上帝之律；

就是說，按著內在的人，我喜愛神的法則，

蓋依內心、則悅上帝之律、

我中心悅上帝法、

我以內心悅天主之法、

若依吾內心、吾固以天主之法為樂也。

For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;

Deep inside me I find joy in God’s law.

For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,

I love God’s law with all my heart.

For I joyfully agree with the law of God in the inner person,

For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.

Help me stay on the path of your commands, for I take pleasure in it.

I have not departed from the commands from his lips; I have treasured the words from his mouth more than my daily food.

The mindset of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit to God’s law. Indeed, it is unable to do so.

The precepts of the LORD are right, making the heart glad; the command of the LORD is radiant, making the eyes light up.The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the LORD are reliable and altogether righteous.They are more desirable than gold— than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.

How I love your instruction! It is my meditation all day long.Your command makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is always with me.I have more insight than all my teachers because your decrees are my meditation.I understand more than the elders because I obey your precepts.I have kept my feet from every evil path to follow your word.I have not turned from your judgments, for you yourself have instructed me.How sweet your word is to my taste— sweeter than honey in my mouth.I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices

I have your decrees as a heritage forever; indeed, they are the joy of my heart.

Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold,

I hate those who are double-minded, but I love your instruction.

I obey your decrees and love them greatly.

Instruction from your lips is better for me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
