我們知道，只要人善用律法，律法是好的；

耶和華啊，你是公義的；你的典章正直！

耶和華的律法全備，使人甦醒；耶和華的法度確定，使愚蒙人有智慧。耶和華的訓詞正直，使人心快活；耶和華的命令清潔，使人眼目明亮。耶和華的典章真實，全然公義，敬畏耶和華是純潔的，存到永遠，比金子可羨慕，比極多的純金可羨慕；比蜜甘甜，比蜂房下滴的蜜甘甜。因此你的僕人受警戒，遵守這些有極大的賞賜。誰能察覺自己的錯失呢？求你赦免我隱藏的過犯。

你的命令盡都信實；他們無理迫害我，求你幫助我！

所以，我喜愛你的命令勝於金子，更勝於純金。

這樣，我們藉着信廢了律法嗎？絕對不是！更是鞏固律法。

求你向敬畏你的僕人堅守你的話！

願我的舌頭歌唱你的言語，因你一切的命令盡都公義。

哪一大國有這樣公義的律例典章，像我今日在你們面前所頒佈的這一切律法呢？

不要效法這個世界，只要心意更新而變化，叫你們察驗何為神的善良、純全、可喜悅的旨意。

你降臨在西奈山，從天上與他們說話，賜給他們正直的典章、真實的律法、美好的律例與誡命，

我們原知道律法是屬靈的，我卻是屬肉體的，是已經賣給罪了。

你的言語極其精煉，令你僕人喜愛。

「以色列啊，現在耶和華－你的神向你要的是甚麼呢？只要你敬畏耶和華－你的神，遵行他一切的道，愛他，盡心盡性事奉耶和華－你的神，

如果我所做的是我所不願意的，我得承認律法是善的。
