We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.For we who live are always given over to death because of Jesus, so that Jesus’ life may also be revealed in our mortal flesh.So death works in us, but life in you.And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe, and therefore speak.We know that the One who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and present us with you.

This saying is trustworthy: For if we have died with Him, we will also live with Him;if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life.For if we have been joined with Him in the likeness of His death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of His resurrection.

For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God.When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

In fact, He was crucified in weakness, but He lives by God’s power. For we also are weak in Him, yet toward you we will live with Him by God’s power.

Since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep.For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord.
