We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our body.For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’s sake, so that Jesus’s life may also be displayed in our mortal flesh.So then, death is at work in us, but life in you.And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe, and therefore speak.For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you.

This saying is trustworthy: For if we died with him, we will also live with him;if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live too.

Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of his resurrection.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.For we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
