既因受洗而與之同死、亦即與之同葬矣。既與之同葬、乃亦與之同被天父之恩光、而自死中復活。於是吾人所現有者、乃為煥然一新之生命。

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

By being baptized, we were buried with Christ into his death. Christ has been raised from the dead by the Father’s glory. And like Christ we also can live a new life.

that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to rid yourselves of the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit,and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you— not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience— through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.

Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,and in your knowledge, self control, and in your self control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.

Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?

For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we too are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.And all who will follow this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.

Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.

Jesus* said to her,“ Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

Let’s behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.And when you were dead in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings,

So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their minds,

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Brothers and sisters, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us.For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even as I weep, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ,

But God raised Him from the dead, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.

Masters, grant your slaves justice and fairness, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

Jesus answered them,“ Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”The Jews then said,“ It took forty six years to build this temple, and yet You will raise it up in three days?”

For this reason we also, since the day we heard about it, have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyouslygiving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His mightwhich He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light

even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
