We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you( not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the pledge of a good conscience toward God) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

because we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over Him.

By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires.For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge,knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness,godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.

Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

In fact, He was crucified in weakness, but He lives by God’s power. For we also are weak in Him, yet toward you we will live with Him by God’s power.

For both circumcision and uncircumcision mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.May peace come to all those who follow this standard, and mercy to the Israel of God!

And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then He who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through His Spirit who lives in you.

Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, equip yourselves also with the same resolve— because the one who suffered in the flesh has finished with sin—in order to live the remaining time in the flesh, no longer for human desires, but for God’s will.

God raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.

Jesus said to her,“ Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

Let us walk with decency, as in the daylight: not in carousing and drunkenness; not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no plans to satisfy the fleshly desires.

You were also circumcised in Him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of the Messiah.Having been buried with Him in baptism, you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him and forgave us all our trespasses.

Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their thoughts.

So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God.Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God.

Join in imitating me, brothers, and observe those who live according to the example you have in us.For I have often told you, and now say again with tears, that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.

God raised Him up, ending the pains of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to moral impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.

Masters, supply your slaves with what is right and fair, since you know that you too have a Master in heaven.

Jesus answered,“ Destroy this sanctuary, and I will raise it up in three days.”Therefore the Jews said,“ This sanctuary took 46 years to build, and will You raise it up in three days?”

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joygiving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

Jesus performed this first sign in Cana of Galilee. He displayed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.He demonstrated this power in the Messiah by raising Him from the dead and seating Him at His right hand in the heavens—

Suddenly there was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached the tomb. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it.His appearance was like lightning, and his robe was as white as snow.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship.Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light—

made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens,
