試一思之、爾昔日所行、今日所恥之種切、於爾究有何益？死亡為其必然之結果！

What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!

And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom.

Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death.

What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

What fruit then had ye at that time in the things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

So what fruit was produced then from the things you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.

who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law worked in our members to bring out fruit to death.

There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

How much worse punishment do you think he will be judged worthy of who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

“ Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant.”But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

“ Behold, I am of small account. What will I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.

For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?

They have sown wheat, and have reaped thorns. They have exhausted themselves, and profit nothing. You will be ashamed of your fruits, because of Yahweh’s fierce anger.”

Tell the righteous“ Good!” For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

For behold, this same thing, that you were grieved in a godly way, what earnest care it worked in you. Yes, what defense, indignation, fear, longing, zeal, and vengeance! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be pure in the matter.

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed. They couldn’t blush. Therefore they will fall among those who fall. In the time of their visitation they will be cast down, says Yahweh.

let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

Therefore they will eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own schemes.

Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your sisters, your elder sisters and your younger; and I will give them to you for daughters, but not by your covenant.I will establish my covenant with you. until I entered God’s sanctuary, and considered their latter end.

lest strangers feast on your wealth, and your labors enrich another man’s house.You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed,and say,“ How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me!

Therefore the showers have been withheld and there has been no latter rain; yet you have had a prostitute’s forehead and you refused to be ashamed.

and I said,“ My God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to you, my God; for our iniquities have increased over our head, and our guiltiness has grown up to the heavens.

But when he came to himself he said,‘ How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough to spare, and I’m dying with hunger!I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.I am no more worthy to be called your son. Surely after that I was turned. I repented. After that I was instructed. I struck my thigh. I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.’

Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.

For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;
