Once you were slaves of sin. At that time right living did not control you.

因为你们作罪之奴仆的时候，就不被义约束了。

因为你们作罪的奴隶时，不被义所约束。

因为你们作罪的奴隶时，不被义所约束。

你们做罪的奴隶时，不受义的约束，

你们作罪的奴仆的时候，就不受义的约束。

原来，你们做罪的奴仆时，不受义的管束；

因為你們作罪之奴僕的時候，就不被義約束了。

因為你們作罪的奴隸時，不被義所約束。

因為你們作罪的奴隸時，不被義所約束。

你們做罪的奴隸時，不受義的約束，

你們作罪的奴僕的時候，就不受義的約束。

你們從前給罪做奴僕的時候，是自由自主不受義約束的。

原來，你們做罪的奴僕時，不受義的管束；

爾昔為罪之僕、不服於義、

蓋爾素為罪之僕、則遠義矣、

蓋爾為罪之僕時、則不為義所約束、

蓋當爾為罪之僕、於正義則漫無約束。

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.

Don’t you know that when you give yourselves to obey someone you become that person’s slave? If you are slaves of sin, then you will die. But if you are slaves who obey God, then you will live a godly life.You used to be slaves of sin. But thank God that with your whole heart you obeyed the teachings you were given!

Jesus replied,“ What I’m about to tell you is true. Everyone who sins is a slave of sin.
