Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

曰、非也、我儕於罪既死、詎尚於罪中生乎、

曰、非也我儕絕惡若死、詎復為惡若生、

非也、我儕既絕罪若死、豈可仍於罪中而生乎、

夫吾人於罪既已心死、其尚能依罪而生乎？

By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

Not at all! As far as sin is concerned, we are dead. So how can we keep on sinning?

By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein?

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness— by whose stripes you were healed.

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another— to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.

For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.

But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles— when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—

For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.For he who has died has been freed from sin.Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect?Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:“ That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”

Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.

And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
