断乎不可！我们在罪上死了的人岂可仍在罪中活着呢？

夫吾人於罪既已心死、其尚能依罪而生乎？

for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we may cease from sinning and live for righteousness. By his wounds you were healed.

So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God.

For through the law I died to the law so that I may live to God.

But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.

If you have died with Christ to the elemental spirits of the world, why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world?

For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united in the likeness of his resurrection.We know that our old man was crucified with him so that the body of sin would no longer dominate us, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.( For someone who has died has been freed from sin.)Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die again; death no longer has mastery over him.For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died.And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised.So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away– look, what is new has come!

Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision?Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?Absolutely not!
