今爾等靈修未深、請以庸言明之。正如爾等曩日曾以爾之四肢百體、為邪淫不法之僕、以滋罪惡；今望爾等以四肢百體、為正義之僕、以登聖域也。

I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever- increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.

Because you are human, you find this hard to understand. So I am using an everyday example to help you understand. You used to give yourselves to be slaves to unclean living. You were becoming more and more evil. Now give yourselves to be slaves to right living. Then you will become holy.

I am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.

Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy.

I am using a human analogy because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you offered the parts of yourselves as slaves to impurity, and to greater and greater lawlessness, so now offer them as slaves to righteousness, which results in sanctification.

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your body’s parts as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification.

但是，如果我按人的意思來說，我們的不義可以顯明神的義，那我們要怎麼說呢？難道降震怒的神是不公正的嗎？

也不要把你們身體的任何部分獻給罪，做不義的器具；相反，要像從死人中復活的人，把自己獻給神，並把身體的各部分做義的器具獻給神。

弟兄們，我按人的意思說話：甚至是人的約，一旦證實了，也沒有人能廢棄或加添。

你們有些人過去是這樣，但是藉著主耶穌基督的名，藉著我們神的靈，你們已經被洗淨了，被分別為聖了，被稱為義了。

所以，當把你們屬世的各個部分看為死了的，就如淫亂、汙穢、邪情、惡慾和貪心，貪心就是拜偶像。為了這些事，神的震怒就臨到那些不信從的兒女身上；當你們從前生活在這些事中的時候，也在其中生活。

以致不再順著人的欲望，而是順著神的旨意，在世上度餘下的時間。要知道，過往的日子，你們做了外邦人願意做的事，活在好色、私慾、酗酒、荒宴、狂飲和律法所禁止的拜偶像之中——這已經夠了。如今在這些事上，因你們不與他們一起跑進那同樣放蕩的洪流中，他們就感到奇怪，毀謗你們。

在其中，你們從前行事為人，是順著這世界的潮流，順著那空中勢力的掌權者，就是現今在那些不信從的兒女裡面做工的靈。我們從前也都生活在他們中間，生活在自己肉體的欲望裡，行肉體和意念所願的事。我們正如其他人，生來也是震怒之下的兒女。

你們難道不知道嗎？你們把自己獻上做奴僕去順從誰，那麼，順從誰就是誰的奴僕：或做罪的奴僕，以至於死；或做順從的奴僕，以致稱義。感謝神！雖然你們過去是罪的奴僕，但現在卻從心裡順從了所傳給你們的教導內容，

況且，聖靈也照樣扶助我們的軟弱。事實上，我們不知道該禱告什麼、如何禱告，但聖靈卻親自用說不出的嘆息，為我們代求。

你們要謹慎，免得有人虧缺了神的恩典；免得有苦毒的根長起來攪擾你們，使許多人因此被汙穢了；

至於那些不敬神的空談，你們要避免，因為說這些話的人將導致更多不敬神的事；他們的話像毒瘤那樣將會擴散。這些人中間有希米奈奧和菲利特斯，

你們誇耀是不好的。難道你們不知道，一點點酵母能使整個麵團發酵嗎？

因為我們的大祭司不是不能同情我們的種種軟弱，而是在各方面照著與我們相同的樣式受過試探，只是沒有犯罪。

我們堅強的人，應該擔當不堅強人的軟弱，不求自己的喜悅。

我說這些話，難道是按人的意思嗎？律法不也是說這些話嗎？

我在以弗所與野獸搏鬥，如果按人的意思來說，對我有什麼好處呢？如果死人不會復活，就「讓我們吃吃喝喝吧，因為明天我們就要死了。」你們不要被迷惑了！「結交惡友，敗壞善德。」
