亦毋將爾四肢百體、獻之於罪、以作不義之器。務須獻身於天主、一若新自死中復活也者；如是則爾之四肢百體、乃成為昭事天主之義器、

Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

Don’t give any part of yourself to serve sin. Don’t let any part of yourself be used to do evil. Instead, give yourselves to God. You have been brought from death to life. So give every part of yourself to God to do what is right.

Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.

and do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.

And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

neither present your members unto sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Neither yield ye your members[ as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members[ as] instruments of righteousness unto God.

兄弟乎、我憑天主之仁慈、剴切求爾獻身天主、而為有生之犧牲、聖潔無疵、以邀天主之悅納；此即內心事主之道也。

豈不知爾向誰氏心悅誠服、而自獻為僕、即為誰氏之僕、應惟其命是從。將從罪以致死乎？抑從善以成義乎？

不復徇人欲、惟循天主聖意、以度餘生。

故應將一切卑污之心事、置諸死地，凡淫亂、卑污、邪情、惡慾、貪孌、莫非崇拜偶像之變相、

當吾人尚在肉身之權下、吾人之四肢百體、在在受罪惡之牽引。此罪惡者、生於情慾、滋於律法、終則致死亡之果者也。

肩負吾人罪累於十字聖架之上。彼之為此、惟欲吾人死於罪而生於義、「以彼創傷、療我瘡痍」云耳。

夫爾等本已死於罪中、縱情恣慾、漫無克制、而天主竟賜爾等與基督同生、惠然赦免吾人宿罪、

蓋主曾出重價以贖之矣。故爾亟宜在爾身上光榮天主也。

舌在人身、亦復如是其形雖小、其誇實大。星星之火、可以燎原；舌猶火也、亦眾惡之府也；深藏我百體之中、而玷污我七尺之軀、引上地獄之火、而焚燬我生命之輪。

豈不知爾等之身、乃基督之肢體乎？寧能將基督之肢體、一變而為娼妓之肢體乎？無此理也！

今爾等靈修未深、請以庸言明之。正如爾等曩日曾以爾之四肢百體、為邪淫不法之僕、以滋罪惡；今望爾等以四肢百體、為正義之僕、以登聖域也。

是故爾等亦當思所以仰體耶穌基督、死於罪而活於天主。

緣基督之偉功、拔吾人於罪中、起吾人於已死、俾吾人得與基督同享生命；

故曰：睡者其興、死者其起！惟彼基督、光明照爾。

寧不知為不義者必不得承天主之國乎？幸毋自欺！凡行淫亂、拜偶像、犯奸惡、為孌童、親男色、

淫邪貪狠、不義充身、乃至鬥殺成性、嫉妒為心、詭詐險毒、

而尤使吾儕喜出望外者、則彼等先獻身於主、而後秉承聖意以為吾儕效勞也。

而營私樹黨、逆真理而順邪惡者、則報以譴怒。患難困苦加於作惡之人、始自猶太、推及希臘。

予切實告爾、人能聽從吾言、而信仰遣予來者、莫不享受永生、而免譴責、蓋已出死而入生矣。

因吾人作戰之武器、非屬形而下者、顧賴主之力其效能則足以掃蕩一切險固之壁壘。

蓋吾兒死而復生、失而復得矣。」

作孽反以自受；白晝狂歡、是其所樂；於爾席上、恣其饕餮；心懷叵測、為玷為辱；眸子不正、惟見邪淫；意志薄弱者、受其誘惑；惟利是圖、實地獄中人也。若輩捨棄正道、流入歧途、與包掃兒之子巴拉盎實屬一路之人。彼巴拉盎者、貪戀不義之財、

今基督之死、為眾人也；則眾人之生、亦宜不復為己、而為替其受死而復活之主矣。

然吾又見一法、寓吾肢體之中、與吾心之法、恆相對敵、而囚吾於肢體之罪孽法中。

爾中一切鬥爭紛擾、果何由而起？非由爾之情慾交戰於內乎？

於是凡不信真理而惟邪惡是好者、必至判罪而後已。

賢者口與舌。惟傳眞與善。

亦所以償吾心期、終不致有所愧忝。因是平生勇氣、至今未衰。必欲獻吾之身、以弘基督。生可也、死亦可也。
