But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away:how shall not rather the ministration of the spirit be with glory?For if the ministration of condemnation hath glory, much rather doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

And one of the malefactors that were hanged railed on him, saying, Art not thou the Christ? save thyself and us.But the other answered, and rebuking him said, Dost thou not even fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.And he said, Jesus, remember me when thou comest in thy kingdom.And he said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To- day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.

though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;and the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief:howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me as chief might Jesus Christ show forth all his longsuffering, for an ensample of them that should thereafter believe on him unto eternal life.

And Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did evil more than did the nations whom Jehovah destroyed before the children of Israel.And Jehovah spake to Manasseh, and to his people; but they gave no heed.Wherefore Jehovah brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.And when he was in distress, he besought Jehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.And he prayed unto him; and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Jehovah he was God.
