且吾人之能因信德而臻恩寵之境、歡忻雀躍以望天主之光榮者、亦全賴基督之功德耳。

through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Through faith in Jesus we have received God’s grace. In that grace we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God’s glory.

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand,

But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. We are of his house, if in fact we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope we take pride in.

Because Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring you to God, by being put to death in the flesh but by being made alive in the spirit.

For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope,

As for me, because I am innocent I will see your face; when I awake you will reveal yourself to me.

“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.

Rejoice in hope, endure in suffering, persist in prayer.

So my heart rejoices and I am happy; My life is safe.You will not abandon me to Sheol; you will not allow your faithful follower to see the Pit.You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,

I am the door. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved, and will come in and go out, and find pasture.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you,who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials.Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold– gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away– and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.You have not seen him, but you love him. You do not see him now but you believe in him, and so you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy,because you are attaining the goal of your faith– the salvation of your souls.

You guide me by your wise advice, and then you will lead me to a position of honor.

and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:“ Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.

so that we who have found refuge in him may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.

His master answered,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees?

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

The city possesses the glory of God; its brilliance is like a precious jewel, like a stone of crystal- clear jasper.

When they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported all the things God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith for the Gentiles.

eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality,

And Moses said,“ Show me your glory.”And the LORD said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”But he added,“ You cannot see my face, for no one can see me and live.”

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?

Jesus replied,“ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

And if children, then heirs( namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ)– if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us.

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

So Jesus said to them again,“ I tell you the solemn truth, I am the door for the sheep.

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, but the righteous have refuge even in the threat of death.

And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all– how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died( and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?As it is written,“ For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with me on my throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Who are you to pass judgment on another’s servant? Before his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that as the last he will stand upon the earth.And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God,whom I will see for myself, and whom my own eyes will behold, and not another. My heart grows faint within me.

And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
