這麼說來，因一人的過犯、萬人怎樣都受定罪；照樣，因一人所行的義、萬人也怎樣都被斷為無罪而得生命。

如此说来，因一次的过犯，众人都被定罪；照样，因一次的义行，众人也就被称义得生命了。

这样看来，因一次的过犯，所有的人都被定罪；照样，因一次的义行，所有的人也就被称义而得生命了。

若然、如以一愆致眾定罪、亦以一義致眾見義而獲生、

是眾見擬者、以一人之愆、稱義而生者、以一人之義也、

由是觀之、因一罪、一罪或作一人之罪人皆被罪、亦因一義、一義或作一人之義人皆稱義得永生、

總之、眾人皆因一人之罪而處死、亦因一人之義得免罪責、而獲生命。

Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

So one man’s sin brought guilt to all people. In the same way, one right act made people right with God. That one right act gave life to all people.

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.

So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is justification leading to life for everyone.

So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind.

Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

So then as through one trespass the judgment came unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness the free gift came unto all men to justification of life.

So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification for everyone.

Therefore as by the offence of one[ judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one[ the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.

Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people.

So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.

故此、罪怎樣藉着一個人而入了世界，死又藉着罪而入了世界，死也怎樣因萬人都犯了罪而傳遍到萬人。

你們靠着摩西的律法所不能得開脫的、靠着這個人、凡相信的、就都得開脫了。

眾人怎樣在亞當裏都死了，眾人也必怎樣在基督裏活過來。

因那一人之不聽從、萬眾也怎樣被認為罪人；照樣，因這一人之聽從、萬眾也怎樣都被認為義人。

但上帝的恩賜是遠超乎人之過犯的；萬眾既因那一人的過犯而死，那麼上帝之恩典、以及在耶穌基督一人恩典中白白之恩、豈不越發加給萬眾麼？

他願萬人得救、而達到真理之認識。上帝只有一位，在上帝與人之間、中保也只有一位，就是作人的基督耶穌。他把自己獻出，替萬人做抵贖價，在適當時機就加以明證。

我們只看見那被派為暫時比天使小的耶穌；因受了死的苦，就接受榮耀尊貴做華冠給戴上，好叫他、因着上帝的恩、替萬人嘗了嘗死。

這耶穌、是為我們的過犯被送官，也為我們的稱義得甦活起來的。

至於我呢、我若從地上被舉起，就必吸引萬人來歸我。』（

我們曉得、律法無論說甚麼，都是向律法以內的人講的，好堵住每一個人的口，使全世界的人都伏在上帝審判之下；所以血肉人在上帝面前、都不能由律法上的行為得稱為義：因為由於律法、人才認識罪。但如今呢、上帝救人的義已在律法以外顯明出來了，是律法和神言人們所見證的；然而上帝救人的義、卻是憑着那信耶穌基督的心、加給一切信的人的；並沒有區別：

這個人來作見證，是要為光作見證，使眾人藉着他而相信。

耶穌基督的僕人和使徒、西門彼得、寫信給那因我們的上帝和救主、耶穌基督、的義、與我們分得同樣寶貴信仰的人。

他們來見約翰，對他說：『老師，從前同你在約但河外、你所見證的那一位，你看，這個人正施行洗禮呢，眾人都找他去了。』
