And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.

且以一人干罪、亦不如恩賜、蓋鞫由一人以致定罪、恩賜則由多愆以致見義也、

定擬由一人之罪、不如恩賜由一人之義、蓋審判由一罪以定擬、恩賜則多罪而稱義、

又一人犯罪之所致、不如恩賜、蓋由一人之愆、有審判以定罪、由恩賜、乃免多愆以稱義、

且恩賜之效、不僅抵銷一原罪而已。蓋審判雖據一罪而定讞、而慈恩則免眾罪以成義。

Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

The result of God’s gift is different from the result of Adam’s sin. That one sin brought God’s judgment. But after many sins, God’s gift made people right with him.

And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.

And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.

And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.

The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one offense, resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the gracious gift arose from many offenses, resulting in justification.

And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

And not as through one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment came of one unto condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses unto justification.

When the woman saw that the tree produced fruit that was good for food, was attractive to the eye, and was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.Then the eyes of both of them opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God moving about in the orchard at the breezy time of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the orchard.But the LORD God called to the man and said to him,“ Where are you?”The man replied,“ I heard you moving about in the orchard, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”And the LORD God said,“ Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”The man said,“ The woman whom you gave me, she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it.”So the LORD God said to the woman,“ What is this you have done?” And the woman replied,“ The serpent tricked me, and I ate.”The LORD God said to the serpent,“ Because you have done this, cursed are you above all the wild beasts and all the living creatures of the field! On your belly you will crawl and dust you will eat all the days of your life.And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”To the woman he said,“ I will greatly increase your labor pains; with pain you will give birth to children. You will want to control your husband, but he will dominate you.”But to Adam he said,“ Because you obeyed your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you,‘ You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground thanks to you; in painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.It will produce thorns and thistles for you, but you will eat the grain of the field.By the sweat of your brow you will eat food until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you will return.”

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals,thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Come, let’s consider your options,” says the LORD.“ Though your sins have stained you like the color red, you can become white like snow; though they are as easy to see as the color scarlet, you can become white like wool.

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned with the world.

even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I was treated with mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief,and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”– and I am the worst of them!But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.

I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake; your sins I do not remember.

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”Then Jesus said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this, who even forgives sins?”He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. Come back to me, for I protect you.”

For the one who obeys the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.

For all who rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law.”
