But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift which comes through the grace of the one man Jesus Christ overflowed to the many.

罪愆不如恩賜、蓋以一人之愆、致眾死亡、孰若上帝之恩、及耶穌基督一人、恩賜於有眾、為高厚乎、

但罪愆不如恩賜、若一人之愆、致眾皆死、況天主之寵與賜、因耶穌基督一人之恩、不益廣施於眾乎、

雖然、恩寵之效、固非罪惡之累所得同日而語矣。夫因一人之罪、致眾受其死、則因一人之功、不更能使眾沾其恩耶？

But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!

God’s gift can’t be compared with Adam’s sin. Many people died because of the sin of that one man. But it was even more sure that God’s grace would also come through one man. That man is Jesus Christ. God’s gift of grace was more than enough for the whole world.

But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.

But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.

But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.

But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

But not as the trespass, so also is the free gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound unto the many.

But not as the offence, so also[ is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace,[ which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!

But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned.

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift—

And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.If by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.So then, as through one trespass there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is justification leading to life for everyone.For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even more

After his anguish, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge, my righteous servant will justify many, and he will carry their iniquities.

Many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to eternal life, and some to disgrace and eternal contempt.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.“ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways.” This is the LORD’s declaration.“ For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

But we do see Jesus— made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God’s grace he might taste death for everyone— crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death.

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!

Jesus answered,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you,‘ Give me a drink,’ you would ask him, and he would give you living water.”

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. The one seated on the throne will shelter them:They will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any scorching heat.For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; he will guide them to springs of the waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus in the same way they are.”

He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.
