So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned–

这就如罪是从一人入了世界，死又是从罪来的，于是死就临到众人，因为众人都犯了罪。

所以，正如罪是藉着一个人进入了世界，并且死是藉着罪进入的；这样，因为人人都犯了罪，死也就临到了所有的人。

是以自從罪由一人入世、死因罪而有、則死臨於眾人、以眾人犯罪、

夫罪緣一人之身、而侵入斯世；罪之所至、死則隨之；人皆有罪、亦皆有死。

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

Sin entered the world because one man sinned. And death came because of sin. Everyone sinned, so death came to all people.

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Then when desire conceives, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is full grown, it gives birth to death.

By the sweat of your brow you will eat food until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you will return.”

Look, I was guilty of sin from birth, a sinner the moment my mother conceived me.

so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

When the woman saw that the tree produced fruit that was good for food, was attractive to the eye, and was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death– the lake of fire.If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire.

Indeed! All lives are mine– the life of the father as well as the life of the son is mine. The one who sins will die.

For we all stumble in many ways. If someone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect individual, able to control the entire body as well.

Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam( who is a type of the coming one) transgressed.But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!

And the LORD God said,“ Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”So the LORD God expelled him from the orchard in Eden to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken.When he drove the man out, he placed on the eastern side of the orchard in Eden angelic sentries who used the flame of a whirling sword to guard the way to the tree of life.
