Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all men, because all sinned.

夫罪緣一人之身、而侵入斯世；罪之所至、死則隨之；人皆有罪、亦皆有死。

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.”

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

You will eat bread by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground, since you were taken from it. For you are dust, and you will return to dust.”

Indeed, I was guilty when I was born; I was sinful when my mother conceived me.

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Then the woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom. So she took some of its fruit and ate it; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Look, every life belongs to Me. The life of the father is like the life of the son— both belong to Me. The person who sins is the one who will die.

for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.

Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression. He is a prototype of the Coming One.But the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the one man’s trespass the many died, how much more have the grace of God and the gift overflowed to the many by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ.And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.Since by the one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive the overflow of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.

The Lord God said,“ Since man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil, he must not reach out, take from the tree of life, eat, and live forever.”So the Lord God sent him away from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.He drove man out and stationed the cherubim and the flaming, whirling sword east of the garden of Eden to guard the way to the tree of life.
