我逆主時、賴其子之死、得親於上帝、況以其生得救乎、

我儕為敵之時、賴其子之死、得與天主復和、今已復和、不更因其生而得救乎、

當時吾人尚為天主之悖逆、且得緣其聖子之死、而與天主重相契合、今既重相契合、不更能緣其永生、而承無疆之休乎？
