If you confess with your mouth,“ Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the mighty working of his strength.He exercised this power in Christ by raising him from the dead and seating him at his right hand in the heavens—

For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

But God raised him from the dead,

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus— the great Shepherd of the sheep— through the blood of the everlasting covenant,equip you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
