Now it was not written that it was accounted to him for his sake alone,

“算为他的义”这一句话，不是单为他写的，

不但如此，“被算为他的义”这句话不仅是为亚伯拉罕写的，

「算為他義」的這句話不是單為他寫的，

「算他為義」這句話不是單為他寫的，

「算他為義」這句話不是單為他寫的，

「他被算為義人」這句話不單單是為他寫的，

“算為他的義”這一句話，不是單為他寫的，

「算為他的義」這句話、原不單是為亞伯拉罕寫的，

不但如此，「被算為他的義」這句話不僅是為亞伯拉罕寫的，

夫經所載以之為義者、不第為彼、亦為我儕、

經言此、蓋不第為亞伯拉罕、亦為我儕也、

亞伯拉罕之信視為義、經載此言、不但為彼、亦為我儕、

夫經載其稱義、非徒為彼故、

The words“ it was credited to him” were written not for him alone,

The words“ God accepted Abraham’s faith” were written not only for Abraham.

But the words“ it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone,

And when God counted him as righteous, it wasn’t just for Abraham’s benefit. It was recorded

Now it was credited to him was not written for Abraham alone,

Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him,

Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him,

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was reckoned unto him;

Now it was credited to him was not written for Abraham alone,

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake,

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

Every Scripture is God- breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

For it is written in the law of Moses,“ You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it for the oxen that God cares,or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope.
