Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,

並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裏起疑惑，反倒因信心裏得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，

仍仰望上帝的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給上帝，

仍仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給神，

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，

也沒有以不信之心去疑惑上帝的應許，反而在信心上得了能力而堅固，而將榮耀歸與上帝，

他也沒有因著不信去懷疑神的應許，反而因著信得以剛強，把榮耀歸給神，

且於上帝所許、不以不信而貳其心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

絕不疑上帝所應許、稍懷不信心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

不懷不信之心、疑天主所許者、其信益堅、歸榮天主、

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

It shall come to pass that, as you were a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Don’t be afraid. Let your hands be strong.”

Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying,‘ Give us meat, that we may eat.’I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found favor in your sight; and don’t let me see my wretchedness.”Yahweh said to Moses,“ Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you don’t bear it yourself alone.“ Say to the people,‘ Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Yahweh, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you will eat.You will not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected Yahweh who is among you, and have wept before him, saying,“ Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”Moses said,“ The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month.’Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?”Yahweh said to Moses,“ Has Yahweh’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord!”

He said,“ Greatly beloved man, don’t be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. Yes, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said,“ Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.”

Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to Yahweh, saying,“ Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.You show loving kindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them. The great, the mighty God, Yahweh of Armies is your name:great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;and brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, with wonders, with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.They came in and possessed it, but they didn’t obey your voice and didn’t walk in your law. They have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do. Therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them.“ Behold, siege ramps have come to the city to take it. The city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, of the famine, and of the pestilence. What you have spoken has happened. Behold, you see it.You have said to me, Lord Yahweh,‘ Buy the field for money, and call witnesses;’ whereas the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.”Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,“ Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.’”

Tell those who have a fearful heart,“ Be strong! Don’t be afraid! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution. He will come and save you.

and that captain answered the man of God, and said,“ Now, behold, if Yahweh made windows in heaven, might such a thing be?” and he said,“ Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Let your hands be strong, you who hear in these days these words from the mouth of the prophets who were in the day that the foundation of the house of Yahweh of Armies was laid, even the temple, that it might be built.

and he said,“ Listen, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, king Jehoshaphat. Yahweh says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, and don’t be dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow, go down against them. Behold, they are coming up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, before the wilderness of Jeruel.You will not need to fight this battle. Set yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed. Go out against them tomorrow, for Yahweh is with you.’”Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground; and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before Yahweh, worshiping Yahweh.The Levites, of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites, stood up to praise Yahweh, the God of Israel, with an exceedingly loud voice.They rose early in the morning, and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. As they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said,“ Listen to me, Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in Yahweh your God, so you will be established! Believe his prophets, so you will prosper.”

Zacharias said to the angel,“ How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said,“ Behold, if Yahweh made windows in heaven, could this thing be?” He said,“ Behold, you will see it with your eyes, but will not eat of it.”

Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says Yahweh.‘ Be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ says Yahweh,‘ and work, for I am with you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!

He will corrupt those who do wickedly against the covenant by flatteries; but the people who know their God will be strong, and take action.
