No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裏起疑惑，反倒因信心裏得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，

仍仰望上帝的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給上帝，

仍仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給神，

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，

也沒有以不信之心去疑惑上帝的應許，反而在信心上得了能力而堅固，而將榮耀歸與上帝，

他也沒有因著不信去懷疑神的應許，反而因著信得以剛強，把榮耀歸給神，

且於上帝所許、不以不信而貳其心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

絕不疑上帝所應許、稍懷不信心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

不懷不信之心、疑天主所許者、其信益堅、歸榮天主、

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

And as you have been a byword of cursing among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong.”

Where am I to get meat to give to all this people? For they weep before me and say,‘ Give us meat, that we may eat.’I am not able to carry all this people alone; the burden is too heavy for me.If you will treat me like this, kill me at once, if I find favor in your sight, that I may not see my wretchedness.”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Gather for me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and let them take their stand there with you.And I will come down and talk with you there. And I will take some of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them, and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you may not bear it yourself alone.And say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was better for us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.You shall not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before him, saying,“ Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”But Moses said,“ The people among whom I am number six hundred thousand on foot, and you have said,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!’Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, and be enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, and be enough for them?”And the Lord said to Moses,“ Is the Lord’s hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not.”

And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”

And he said,“ O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage.” And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said,“ Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

“ After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, saying:‘ Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.You show steadfast love to thousands, but you repay the guilt of fathers to their children after them, O great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts,great in counsel and mighty in deed, whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of man, rewarding each one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.You have shown signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, and to this day in Israel and among all mankind, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day.You brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and outstretched arm, and with great terror.And you gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.And they entered and took possession of it. But they did not obey your voice or walk in your law. They did nothing of all you commanded them to do. Therefore you have made all this disaster come upon them.Behold, the siege mounds have come up to the city to take it, and because of sword and famine and pestilence the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What you spoke has come to pass, and behold, you see it.Yet you, O Lord God, have said to me,“ Buy the field for money and get witnesses”— though the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans.’”The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:“ Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.’”

Say to those who have an anxious heart,“ Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”

the captain had answered the man of God,“ If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said,“ You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,

Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Let your hands be strong, you who in these days have been hearing these words from the mouth of the prophets who were present on the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

And he said,“ Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you,‘ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, east of the wilderness of Jeruel.You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.”Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said,“ Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.”

And Zechariah said to the angel,“ How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.”

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God,“ If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” But he said,“ You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the Lord. Be strong, O Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land, declares the Lord. Work, for I am with you, declares the Lord of hosts,

When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.
