其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

亚伯拉罕就脸伏于地窃笑，心里想：“一百岁的人还能有孩子吗？撒拉已经九十岁了，还能生育吗？”

因着信，撒拉自己已过了生育的年龄还能怀孕，因为她认为应许她的那位是可信的；所以，从一个仿佛已死的人竟生出子孙，如同天上的星那样众多，海边的沙那样无数。这些人都是存着信心死的，并没有得着所应许的，却从远处观望，且欢喜迎接。他们承认自己在地上是客旅，是寄居的。说这样话的人是表明自己要寻找一个家乡。他们若想念所离开的家乡，还有回去的机会。其实他们所羡慕的是一个更美的，就是在天上的家乡。所以，上帝并不因他们称他为上帝而觉得羞耻，因为他已经为他们预备了一座城。因着信，亚伯拉罕被考验的时候把以撒献上，这就是那领受了应许的人甘心把自己独生的儿子献上。论到这儿子，上帝曾说：“从以撒生的才要称为你的后裔。”他认为上帝甚至能使人从死人中复活，意味着他得回了他的儿子。

耶稣对他说：“‘你若能’，在信的人，凡事都能。”孩子的父亲立刻喊着说：“我信；求你帮助我的不信！”

你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，上帝还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢？

耶稣说：“你们这些小信的人哪，为什么胆怯呢？”于是他起来，斥责风和海，风和海就大大平静了。

耶稣立刻伸手拉住他，说：“你这小信的人哪，为什么疑惑呢？”

无论是吃肉是喝酒，是什么别的事，使弟兄跌倒，一概不做，才是善的。

仍仰望上帝的应许，总没有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而刚强，将荣耀归给上帝，且满心相信上帝所应许的必能成就。

亚伯拉罕和撒拉都年纪老迈，撒拉的月经已停了。撒拉心里窃笑，说：“我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有这喜事呢？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么窃笑，说：‘我已年老，果真能生育吗？’耶和华岂有难成的事吗？到了所定的时候，我必回到你这里。明年这时候，撒拉会生一个儿子。”

然后他对多马说：“把你的指头伸到这里来，看看我的手；把你的手伸过来，探入我的肋旁。不要疑惑，总要信！”多马回答，对他说：“我的主！我的上帝！”
