彼雖年近百齡、自念其身如死、撒拉絕孕、而其信不衰、

信之即篤、雖近百齡、血氣衰、弗顧也、雖撒拉絕孕、亦弗顧也、

其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart,“ Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?”

By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude— innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland.And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return.But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,of whom it was said,“ In Isaac your seed shall be called,”concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

Jesus said to him,“ If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears,“ Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

But He said to them,“ Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him,“ O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying,“ After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my Lord being old also?”And the Lord said to Abraham,“ Why did Sarah laugh, saying,‘ shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Then He said to Thomas,“ Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”And Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”
