彼雖年近百齡、自念其身如死、撒拉絕孕、而其信不衰、

信之即篤、雖近百齡、血氣衰、弗顧也、雖撒拉絕孕、亦弗顧也、

其信甚篤、年近百歲、不顧己身已衰、亦不顧撒拉之胎已絕孕、

故雖明知己之將近百歲、精力枯竭、且明知灑蕾之久已絕孕；然信心未因此而稍衰、

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead— since he was about a hundred years old— and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.

Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead( since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead— and so was Sarah’s womb.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about a hundred years old) and also the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead( since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

And without being weakened in faith he considered his own body now as good as dead( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb;

He considered his own body to be already dead( since he was about 100 years old) and also considered the deadness of Sarah’s womb, without weakening in the faith.

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead( because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

亚伯拉罕就脸伏于地笑了，心里说：“难道一百岁的人还能生孩子吗？就是撒拉也已经九十岁了，还能生育吗？”

同样因着信，不能生育的撒拉，自己虽然过了年龄，还是领受了怀孕生子的能力，原来她认为向她应许的那一位是信实的。所以从一个如同已经死了的人，就生出了许多人，像天空的星那样众多，像海边的沙那样无法数算。这些人都怀着信仰死去，没有得到那些所应许的，却远远地看见并且欢迎它们，又承认自己在地上是异乡人，是寄居的。实际上，说这样话的人，是表明他们在寻求一个家乡。如果他们真是想念自己所离开的地方，他们还有机会回去；但如今，他们所向往的是一个更美好的，就是在天上的家乡。因此，神被称为“他们的神”并不以为耻；原来他已经为他们预备了一座城。因着信，亚伯拉罕在受考验的时候，献上了以撒；这位领受了各样应许的人，献上了自己的独生儿子——关于这儿子，神曾经说过：“从以撒生的，将被称为你的后裔。”亚伯拉罕认为，神真的能使人从死人中复活。故此，用比喻来说，他真的从死人中得回了以撒。

耶稣对他说：“‘如果你能’？——对信的人，一切都能。”那孩子的父亲立刻喊着说：“我信！但我的不信之处，求你帮助！”

你们这些小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就被丢进火炉里，神尚且这样装扮它，更何况你们呢！

耶稣对他们说：“为什么胆怯呢？你们这些小信的人哪！”耶稣就起来，斥责风和浪，湖面就变得一片平静。

耶稣立刻伸手拉住他，说：“小信的人哪，你为什么疑惑呢？”

不在吃肉、喝酒、或其他事上使你的弟兄绊倒，这才是好的。

他也没有因着不信去怀疑神的应许，反而因着信得以刚强，把荣耀归给神，并且确信不疑：神所应许的，神也能成就。

亚伯拉罕和撒拉都已经老了，上了年纪，撒拉的月事也停止了。撒拉暗笑，心里说：“我已经衰老，我的丈夫也老了，我还能有这等快乐吗？”耶和华对亚伯拉罕说：“撒拉为什么暗笑，说：‘我已经老了，真的还能生育吗？’在耶和华还有难成的事吗？到了所定的时期，明年这时候，我必回到你这里；那时撒拉就会有一个儿子。”

然后他对多马说：“把你的指头伸到这里来，看看我的手吧。伸出你的手来，放进我的肋旁吧。不要不信，而要信！”多马回答耶稣，说：“我的主，我的神！”
