所以，人作後嗣是出於信，因此就屬乎恩，以致應許保證歸給所有的後裔，不但歸給那屬於律法的，也歸給那效法亞伯拉罕之信的人。亞伯拉罕所信的是那叫死人復活、使無變為有的上帝，在這位上帝面前亞伯拉罕成為我們眾人的父，如經上所記：「我已經立你作多國之父。」

所以人得为后嗣是本乎信，因此就属乎恩，叫应许定然归给一切后裔；不但归给那属乎律法的，也归给那效法亚伯拉罕之信的。

所以，成为后嗣是因着信，为的是要按着神的恩典，使给所有后裔的应许坚定不移，不但临到那属于律法的人，也临到那效法亚伯拉罕而信的人。亚伯拉罕在神面前作我们众人的父，

为此，这应许是本于信，好使这应许照着恩典，能确保给所有的后裔——不仅是给属律法的，也是给属亚伯拉罕信心的。亚伯拉罕在神面前是我们每个人的父，

就是因為這個緣故、所以才本着信、要使應許確定，按照恩典、給予一切後裔，不但給予那本着律法的人，也給予那本着亞伯拉罕之信的人。

為此，這應許是本於信，好使這應許照著恩典，能確保給所有的後裔——不僅是給屬律法的，也是給屬亞伯拉罕信心的。亞伯拉罕在神面前是我們每個人的父，

故由乎信、而依乎恩、致堅所許於諸裔、不第於宗律者、亦於宗亞伯拉罕之信者、亞伯拉罕於所信之上帝前、為我眾之父、

故應許本乎信、實由上帝恩、而應許益堅、且及苗裔、其為裔、不惟遵法、乃效吾父亞伯拉罕之信、

是以為嗣子乃因乎信、使所許者、因恩而定、且歸眾苗裔、不獨歸於屬律法者、亦歸於有亞伯拉罕之信之人、亞伯拉罕於天主前、為我眾之父、如經載云、我立爾為萬民之父、天主能使死復生、命無為有、亞伯拉罕信之、

是故人之為嗣、所緣惟信德、所恃惟慈惠；庶幾天主之恩諾、能普被眾裔、不僅限於屬法者亦且兼及具有亞伯漢之信德者。

Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring— not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

The promise is based on God’s grace. The promise comes by faith. All of Abraham’s children will certainly receive the promise. And it is not only for those who are ruled by the law. Those who have the same faith that Abraham had are also included. He is the father of us all.

That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring— not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

So the promise is received by faith. It is given as a free gift. And we are all certain to receive it, whether or not we live according to the law of Moses, if we have faith like Abraham’s. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.

This is why the promise is by faith, so that it may be according to grace, to guarantee it to all the descendants— not only to the one who is of the law but also to the one who is of Abraham’s faith. He is the father of us all.

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

This is why the promise is by faith, so that it may be according to grace, to guarantee it to all the descendants— not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of Abraham’s faith. He is the father of us all

Therefore[ it is] of faith, that[ it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants– not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the offspring, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

如今卻蒙上帝的恩典，藉着在基督耶穌裏的救贖，就白白地得稱為義。上帝設立耶穌作贖罪祭，是憑耶穌的血，藉着信，要顯明上帝的義；因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先前所犯的罪，好使今時顯明他的義，讓人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。

你們得救是本乎恩，也因着信；這並不是出於自己，而是上帝所賜的；

這就是說，肉身所生的兒女不是上帝的兒女，惟獨那應許的兒女才算是後裔。

但聖經把萬物都圈在罪裏，為要使因信耶穌基督而來的應許歸給信的人。

竟在我們因過犯而死了的時候，使我們與基督一同活過來－可見你們得救是本乎恩－

我說，基督是為上帝真理作了受割禮的人的執事，要證實所應許列祖的話，

要追想你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕和生你們的撒拉；因為我選召亞伯拉罕時，他只有一個人，但我賜福給他，使他增多。

當初上帝應許亞伯拉罕的時候，因為沒有比自己更大的可以指着起誓，就指着自己起誓，說：「我必多多賜福給你；我必使你大大增多。」這樣，亞伯拉罕因恆心等待而得了所應許的。人都是指着比自己大的起誓，並且以起誓作保證，了結各樣的爭論。照樣，上帝願意為那承受應許的人更有力地顯明他的旨意不可更改，他以起誓作保證。藉這兩件不可更改的事－在這些事上，上帝絕不會說謊－我們這些逃往避難所的人能得到強有力的鼓勵，去抓住那擺在我們前頭的指望。我們有這指望，如同靈魂的錨，又堅固又牢靠，進入幔子後面的至聖所。

好讓我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑着永生的盼望成為後嗣。

所以，弟兄們，要更加努力，使你們的蒙召和被選堅定不移。你們實行這幾樣，就永不失腳。

並且，他受了割禮的記號，作他未受割禮的時候因信稱義的印證，為使他作一切未受割禮而信之人的父，使他們也算為義，

所以，我們既因信稱義，就藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與上帝和好。

所以，你們知道：有信心的人才是亞伯拉罕的子孫。聖經既然預先看見上帝要使外邦人因信稱義，預先傳福音給亞伯拉罕，說：「萬國都必因你得福。」可見，那有信心的人和有信心的亞伯拉罕一同得福。凡出於律法的行為都是受詛咒的，因為經上記着：「凡不持守律法書上所記的一切而去行的，都是受詛咒的。」沒有一個人靠着律法在上帝面前稱義，這是明顯的，因為經上說：「義人必因信得生。」律法並不出於信，而是說：「行這些事的就必因此得生。」
