我必定大大祝福你，使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星辰、海邊的沙粒；你的後裔必占有仇敵的城門。地上萬國都必因你的後裔而蒙福，因為你聽從了我的話。」

我要祝福她，也要藉著她賜給你一個兒子。我要祝福她，她將成為多國之母，萬族的君王要從她而出。」

你的後裔必如同地上的塵土；你必向東南西北擴展；地上萬族都必因你和你的後裔而蒙福。

所有的君王都要向他下拜，所有的國家都要服事他。

權杖必不離開猶大，王杖必不離他兩腳之間，直到「細羅」來到，萬民都要歸順他。
