他也做了受割礼之人的父。这些人不只是受了割礼，还跟随我们先祖亚伯拉罕的脚步，效法他在未受割礼时的信心。

又作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，并且按我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信之踪迹去行的人。

也使他作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，而且跟随我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信的足迹的人。

也使他作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，而且跟随我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信的足迹的人。

又作受割礼之人的父，就是作那些不仅受割礼，并且照着我们祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼时就信的那脚踪而行之人的父。

而且他也成为受割礼之人的父，不仅为那些受了割礼的人，还为那些顺着我们的先祖亚伯拉罕信心之脚踪行走的人；亚伯拉罕的信心在他没有受割礼的时候就已经有了。

又作受割禮之人的父，就是那些不但受割禮，並且按我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮而信之蹤跡去行的人。

也使他作受割禮之人的父，就是那些不但受割禮，而且跟隨我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮而信的足跡的人。

也做受割禮的人的父，做那些不但受割禮、並且照我們祖宗亞伯拉罕沒受割禮時的信心之腳蹤而按規矩行的人的父。

而且他也成為受割禮之人的父，不僅為那些受了割禮的人，還為那些順著我們的先祖亞伯拉罕信心之腳蹤行走的人；亞伯拉罕的信心在他沒有受割禮的時候就已經有了。

亦為受割者之父、即不第自乎割、亦踐我父亞伯拉罕未割時而信之迹者也、

亦為受割者之父、彼不徒遵割禮、乃行其父亞伯拉罕未受割時而信之跡也、

亦為受割禮者之父、即不獨受割禮、且循吾祖亞伯拉罕未受割禮時、所有之信之跡而行者、

亦為既受割而能踵效其未割時所具之信德者之父也。

And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And Abraham is also the father of those who are circumcised and believe. So just being circumcised is not enough. Those who are circumcised must also follow the steps of our father Abraham. He had faith before he was circumcised.

and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And Abraham is also the spiritual father of those who have been circumcised, but only if they have the same kind of faith Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.

and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also follow in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham which he had while uncircumcised.

律法书上说：亚伯拉罕有两个儿子，一个是婢女生的，一个是主母生的。婢女的儿子是按着人的意愿生的，主母的儿子是按着上帝的应许生的。这些事都有更深的含义，两个妇人是指两个约。夏甲代表颁布于西奈山的约，她所生的孩子是奴仆。这夏甲指的是阿拉伯的西奈山，相当于现今的耶路撒冷，她和她的儿女都是奴仆。那天上的耶路撒冷则是自由的，是我们的母亲。因为圣经上说：“不生育、未生养的妇人啊，要快乐；未曾生产的女子啊，要高声欢呼，因为没有丈夫的比有丈夫的儿女更多。”弟兄姊妹，你们都像以撒一样是照着上帝的应许出生的。当时，那按着人的意愿生的儿子迫害那靠着圣灵生的儿子，现在的情况也和当时一样。但圣经上怎么说呢？圣经上说：“赶走婢女和她的儿子，因为婢女的儿子不能与主母的儿子一同承受产业。”弟兄姊妹，这样看来，我们不是婢女的儿女，而是主母的儿女。

你们蒙召也是为此，因为基督也为你们受过苦，给你们留下榜样，叫你们可以追随祂的脚步。

不要心里说，‘我们是亚伯拉罕的子孙。’我告诉你们，上帝可以从这些石头中兴起亚伯拉罕的子孙。

他在阴间受折磨，抬头远远地看见亚伯拉罕和他身边的拉撒路，就喊着说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！求你可怜我，派拉撒路用指尖蘸点水来润润我的舌头吧！我在这火中实在痛苦不堪。’“亚伯拉罕说，‘孩子啊！你要想想，你生前享福，而拉撒路受苦；如今他在这里得到安慰，而你受折磨。况且，在你我中间隔着一道深渊，这边的人不能到你那边去，你那边的人也不能到这里来。’“财主说，‘我的先祖啊，那么求你派拉撒路去我父亲家里，因为我有五个弟兄。让拉撒路去警告他们，以免他们也来到这痛苦的地方。’“但是亚伯拉罕却说，‘他们可以听从摩西和众先知的话呀！’“财主回答说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！他们不会听的。但如果有一个死而复活的人去警告他们，他们肯定会悔改！’“亚伯拉罕说，‘如果他们不听从摩西和众先知的话，即使一个人从死里复活，他们也不会信服。’”

我恳求提多去你们那里，并派弟兄与他同去。难道提多占过你们的便宜吗？我们行事为人岂不是心灵相通，步调一致吗？

他们说：“我们的父就是亚伯拉罕！”耶稣说：“你们如果真是亚伯拉罕的子孙，一定会做他所做的事。我把从上帝那里听到的真理告诉你们，你们反要杀我，亚伯拉罕绝不做这样的事。

绝色佳人啊！要是你不知道，就跟着羊群的足迹，到牧人的帐篷边喂养你的山羊羔吧。

祂给我戴上脚镣，鉴察我的一举一动。’

当然，这并不表示上帝的话落了空，因为从以色列生的，不一定都是以色列人，亚伯拉罕的后裔不一定都是亚伯拉罕的儿女，圣经上说：“以撒生的才可算为你的后裔。”

所以你要行善人的路，守义人的道。
