Do we then cancel the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

那么，我们是藉着信废掉律法吗？绝对不是！反而确立了律法。

這樣，我們因信廢了律法嗎？斷乎不是！更是堅固律法。

這樣，我們藉着信廢了律法嗎？絕對不是！更是鞏固律法。

這麼說來，我們是藉著信心廢掉上帝的律法嗎？當然不是！我們反倒是鞏固律法。

這樣說來，我們以信廢掉了律法嗎？絕對不是，倒是鞏固了律法。

這樣，我們是憑着信廢掉律法麼？斷乎不是；我們倒是叫律法立定呢。

那麼，我們是藉著信廢掉律法嗎？絕對不是！反而確立了律法。

然則我儕以信廢律乎、曰、非也、乃堅律耳、

然則以信廢法乎、曰、否、更守法焉、

然則我儕因信廢律法乎、非也、乃堅定律法、

然則吾人以信德而廢律法乎？是又不然！此正吾人所以成全律法耳。

Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

Does faith make the law useless? Not at all! We agree with the law.

Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Do we then nullify the Law through faith? Far from it! On the contrary, we establish the Law.

Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Do we then make the law of none effect through faith? God forbid: nay, we establish the law.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! Instead we uphold the law.

Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

“ Don’t assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

in order that the law’s requirement would be accomplished in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

What should we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin if it were not for the law. For example, I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, Do not covet.And sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me coveting of every kind. For apart from the law sin is dead.Once I was alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin sprang to lifeand I died. The commandment that was meant for life resulted in death for me.For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.Therefore, did what is good cause my death? Absolutely not! On the contrary, sin, in order to be recognized as sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment, sin might become sinful beyond measure.For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am made out of flesh, sold into sin’s power.

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.

Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.The commandments: Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not covet; and whatever other commandment— all are summed up by this: Love your neighbor as yourself.Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law.

It is time for the Lord to act, for they have violated Your instruction.

If those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made empty and the promise is canceled.

And I say this: The law, which came 430 years later, does not revoke a covenant that was previously ratified by God and cancel the promise.For if the inheritance is from the law, it is no longer from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham through the promise.Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise was made would come. The law was put into effect through angels by means of a mediator.

To those who are without that law, like one without the law— not being without God’s law but within Christ’s law— to win those without the law.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For in my inner self I joyfully agree with God’s law.

For through the law I have died to the law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ

Jesus answered him,“ Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him to be baptized.

The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. For after He says:This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws on their hearts and write them on their minds,

The Lord was pleased, because of His righteousness, to magnify His instruction and make it glorious.

For I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Absolutely not! God must be true, even if everyone is a liar, as it is written: That You may be justified in Your words and triumph when You judge.

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I myself am a slave to the law of God, but with my flesh, to the law of sin.

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the Lord is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and snared. They have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom do they really have?

I delight to do Your will, my God; Your instruction lives within me.”

Indeed, if you keep the royal law prescribed in the Scripture, Love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well.But if you show favoritism, you commit sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.For whoever keeps the entire law, yet fails in one point, is guilty of breaking it all.For He who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you are a lawbreaker.Speak and act as those who will be judged by the law of freedom.

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance— as I told you before— that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the Lord’s declaration.“ I will put My teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sin.
