Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

既然如此，我们哪里能夸口呢？当然没有可夸的。靠什么方法让人不能夸口呢？靠遵行律法吗？不是！是靠信主的方法。

这样，有什么可夸的呢？没有可夸的了。凭什么准则说没有的呢？凭行为吗？不是的，而是以信心为准则说的。

既然如此，还有什么可夸耀的呢？根本没有。凭着什么法则呢？凭着行为的法则吗？不是！而是凭着信的法则。

既是這樣，哪裏能誇口呢？沒有可誇的了。用何法沒有的呢？是用立功之法嗎？不是，乃用信主之法。

這樣，有甚麼可誇的呢？沒有可誇的了。憑甚麼準則說沒有的呢？憑行為嗎？不是的，而是以信心為準則說的。

那麼可誇口的在哪裏呢？絕無可誇之餘地了。這無可誇是憑着甚麼法呢？憑着行為的法麼？不，乃是憑着信的法。

既然如此，還有什麼可誇耀的呢？根本沒有。憑著什麼法則呢？憑著行為的法則嗎？不是！而是憑著信的法則。

然則所誇安在乎、曰、無之矣、以何律無之、以行之律乎、曰、非也、以信之律耳、

然則有何可誇乎、曰、無、以何法無之、恃己所行之法乎、曰、否、在信、

然則有何可誇乎、無有、以何法無之、以行之法乎、非也、乃以信之法、

然則吾人復何所誇？實無所誇也。尚憑何法？其憑事功之法乎？非也！乃憑立信之法耳。

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith.

So who can brag? No one! Are people saved by the law that requires them to obey? Not at all! They are saved because of the law that requires faith.

Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith.

Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith.

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By one of works? No, on the contrary, by a law of faith.

Where then is boasting? It has been excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.

Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith.

Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By one of works? No, on the contrary, by a law of faith.

Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded! By what principle? Of works? No, but by the principle of faith!

You who glory in the law, do you dishonor God by disobeying the law?

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God.

that no flesh should boast before God.Because of him, you are in Christ Jesus, who was made to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:that, as it is written,“ He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.”

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.

I find then the law that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

He spoke also this parable to certain people who were convinced of their own righteousness, and who despised all others.“ Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself like this:‘ God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men, extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

In that day you will not be disappointed for all your doings, in which you have transgressed against me; for then I will take away out from among you your proudly exulting ones, and you will no more be arrogant in my holy mountain.

For being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him who calls,

I will establish my covenant with you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh;that you may remember, and be confounded, and never open your mouth any more, because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

“‘“ Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord Yahweh.“ Let it be known to you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”

I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, sin’s law.

For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law,“ The one who does them will live by them.”

Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone;

yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.

for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, that no one would boast.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
