又云：『舌端弄詭譎、咽喉如荒墓；唇內藏辛螫、

“ Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.”“ The poison of vipers is on their lips.”

“ Their throats are like open graves. With their tongues they tell lies.”( Psalm 5:9)“ The words from their lips are like the poison of a snake.”( Psalm 140:3)

“ Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.”“ The venom of asps is under their lips.”

“ Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave. Their tongues are filled with lies.”“ Snake venom drips from their lips.”

Their throat is an open grave; they deceive with their tongues. Vipers’ venom is under their lips.

Their throat is an open grave; they deceive with their tongues. Vipers’ venom is under their lips.

因為他們口中都沒有定性；他們的臟腑滿有毁滅；他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓；他們用舌頭諂媚人。

他們使舌頭尖銳如蛇；他們嘴脣下有虺蛇之毒呢。（細拉）

凡油滑嘴脣和說大話的舌頭願永恆主都割斷。他們曾說：『我們必能以舌頭取勝；我們的嘴脣是我們自己的；誰能作我們的主呢？』

他們的酒是大蛇的毒素，是虺蛇猛烈冷酷的毒。

斷乎不能；上帝總是真誠的，雖則人人都撒謊；正如經上所記：『以致你在你的判語上總得證為對，你在被論斷時總必得勝。』

他們彎了舌頭像弓一樣；在這地得勢的是虛假、不是忠信；因為他們是出於壞而歸於壞的，連我、他們也不認識：永恆主發神諭說。你們各人都要提防鄰舍，不要信靠弟兄；因為弟兄都欺欺騙騙、像雅各，鄰舍都走來走去、搬弄是非：永恆主發神諭說。他們各人都愚弄鄰舍，不說真話；乃是教練舌頭說假話；他們犯罪作孽，懶着悔改；

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們好像粉飾的墓，外面顯得好看；裏面呢、卻滿了死人的骨頭和一切的污穢。你們也是這樣：你們外面向人顯着公義，裏面卻滿有假裝和不法。

行詭詐的人哪，你終日圖謀着毁滅；你的舌頭就像磨快的剃刀。

他口中的話是奸惡和詭詐；他跟明智和善行已經斷絕。

因為你們的手被污染於血中，你們的指頭被玷污於罪孽裏；你們的嘴脣說虛假話，你們的舌頭嘟囔着奸惡。

毒蛇的種啊，你們既然邪惡，怎能說出美善來呢？因為由於心裏所充溢的，口就說出來。善人由善之庫房裏發出善來；惡人由邪惡之庫房裏發出邪惡來。

我躺臥於獅子中間，就是一些氣燄能吞人的：他們的牙齒是矛、是箭；他們的舌頭是快刀。

舌頭也是這樣。舌頭是個小肢體，竟能誇說大事呢。你看，多麼小的火能點𤏲多麼大堆的樹林木料啊！舌頭是火；在我們肢體中，舌頭立成了不義之世界，是沾污全身的，把人生活動之輪點𤏲起來的，被垃圾坑式的火點𤏲的。各類走獸飛鳥、昆蟲水族、都是可以控制到馴服的，也已經被人類控制到馴服了。惟獨舌頭沒有人能控制到馴服：嘿，倔強的禍患，滿有害死人的毒氣！

他們的箭袋像敞開的墳墓；他們都是勇士。

你們豈不是見了虛謊的異象？豈不是說了謊詐的占卜？因為你們說：「這是永恆主發神諭說的」，其實我並沒有說呀。』

但他的食物在肚腹中卻要變壞，在臟腑裏卻要成為虺蛇毒質。他吞了資財，又再吐出；上帝從他腹中掏出來。他吸飲着虺蛇之毒；蝮蛇的舌頭把他殺了。
